to answer all of your questions. The points for and against thing, I know, it doesn't work out very well, so I think it will be completely abandonded next season, If I do another season. I just don't have the time I did when I started the first season. But if I do do another season there will be a couple of changes such as home maps: only one person can have the map per division, whats the sense of having a home map if everyone else has it too. Also there would be OT wins and loses as well, I was thinking if a game goes over 10 rounds, then the winner would have the OT win = 2 points, the loser would get the OT lose = 1 point. And the season has one more set of games to be sent out which I am hoping to get done today. That should be the last one and then it's playoffs.

my .02:
the goals against/for is the 4th tie-breaker, so i say keep it. if a lower ranked and higher ranked have even wins & losses, split their games against each other, had the same amount of wins in their division AND had the same # of road wins... you ought to give it to the "lesser" player, cause thats just damn impressive. If a Corporal can hold his own against a General and come out even in all those aspects, why not give it to the Corporal?
Also, I like the OT idea and the change to home maps. (How about changing adjacent forts to chained?)
Spidey - if you are tempted to do another Season, you should try to find a co-organizer - it will take some of the burden off of you, since its such a long season - and allow you to enjoy your own games more.

After leading the Eastern Conference from DAY 1 - I am deeply saddened to inform you all of my fall from grace.
Two losses to division rival Florida, have caused Tampa Bay to not only lose the Conference title, but it's own division - therefore I'll have to be satisfied with *egads* FOURTH place *sigh*.
The Tampa Bay Lightning - losers of 5 of last 7 at "home" (so much for that advantage).
