i don't think he's ugly.
In fact, I'm pretty sure that if he was moneyless he'd still get tons of pussy. he is really a very cool outgoing character and everybody loves him. In any team he plays he's kind of everybody's best bud in the locker room. During last world cup, he was the most liked players by all brazilians along with neymar, because of his fun personality and surfer looks.
I bet you that in a pussy contest david luiz would win by a landslide over thiago silva who's a very shy guy.

so no one even comented on the quarter final draws?
atletico vs real madrid
PSG vs Barcelona
Bayern vs Porto
Monaco vs Juventus
I say real madrid, barcelona, bayern and juventus. Crap draw for PSG, if there are 2 teams they really had to avoid, it's bayern and barcelona. I think they had good chances against all the rest, but barcelona will kick them out of the competition again (kind of bored to see so many psg-chelseas and psg-barcelonas)
Barcelona wins the clasico 2-1 tonight in a rather even duel. the tifos were amazing when the game started. With 4 points of advance and 9 games to go it almost looks like the liga is a done deal.
so if monaco wins its rescheduled game... they will leave the top 4 teams in france in a 3 points finish for the last 8 games. Can't believe monaco's comeback in the league... I think they were last or something after the first 6 games of the season.

Tactics and skill went out of the window. Money will be the driving force behind the winning team.

skill and tactics are antagonistic to money? it's quite strange, cause I thought money bought skill and better tacticians.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Atletico, PSG, and/or Monaco win. I'll be happy if Atletico won and unhappy if PSG wins. As for Monaco-Juventus, I don't really have a preference as to who wins.

Is that including l'OM's 4-0 today over Lens?

well, i would be really surprised if atletico, paris and monaco made it, mostly all ath the same time... I think 1 of the 3 will make it and will be the offset, as there is always one. Hope it's Paris!
Monaco is the weakest team at this stage, but juventus without pogba is not a bad draw for them.
and regarding the french league: yes, that is the latest fresh ranking after today's games. Given the calendars, I think Lyon has it at this point. Next week end is Marseille-Paris!

it obviously is. not the only one, but the most important one. If you take the champion's league winners of the latest 10 years you won't find a winner that isnt within the top 8-12 clubs with the biggest budget in europe.

euro qualifiers this weekend
Belgium, Netherlands, Germany and Portugal got some catching up to do.
Will topteams keep underachieving?
Netherlands and Portugal got some though games. Portugal's receiving Serbia and Netherlands are receiving Turkey.
Belgium and Germany are facing, what should be, easy opponents Cyprus and Georgia.

France is facing brasil tonight just for fun since we don t need to qualify.
This euro 2016 in france will be with 24 teams For the first time right? Or is it for the 2020 edition?
With 24 participants i don t see how big european nations can be left out of the competition anymore.
I don t even know how the 24 teams format works... 4 groups of 6 or 6 groups of 4 with some dumb shit rule to chose the 2 best seconds of each group?

Yeah France 2016 will have 24 teams. But still it's pretty important what pot you get stuck into, not to mention saving yourself the humiliation.
As to how this will work:
group stage: 6 groups of 4 teams
2 move on directly to knock-out stage
3rd place teams get compared to eachother and the best 4 out of 6 advance to knock-out stage
knock-out stages start with 16 teams
Personally I think this is a total bullshit system.

We start in 1/8th of final the knockouts? BS
And 4/6 3rd out of 4 qualify??? What sort of horseshit is that? Platini is out of his mind. The group stages will have no interest at all.

sunday is marseille paris, which is the french "classico". can't wait! the ranking really makes it interesting.
Zlatan fact: Zlatan didnt apply for an US visa, the US applied for a Zlatan visa.

So marseille has lost and it looks like there is no more hope for the title...
We ll most likely be fighting for the last champions league position against monaco now (3 teams go to cl in france)
Paris 62
Lyon 61
Marseille 57
Monaco 55
Oh and if jblombier reads this... Just saw something on tv last night about heller (or whatever his name is?) and utrecht. Made me thought of you as i had never heard of him before!
He s a very young guy and never got to play in first division here.

Interesting speech and background music, but why is he talking in spanish? Do his players even understand him?

Are you reading subtitles or do you understand spanish? In spanish it's a marvel, he could've been a poet lol.

bs speech. the guy has been there for about a year and still can't say basic french words such as "hi, thank you, sorry, good bye". He is talking but there's like 2 or 3 players maximum who can understand him. And seriously... he's a coach and he's not even sure on how many games are left????
I hope he leaves this summer. And very few marseille fans think like me.

Didnt you say the two goals by PSG in the second half were lucky goals?
It seems to me he's pleased with the effort of the players in the pitch in that particular game, and more importantly he's trying that the players dont lose morale. 9 games left and they still have a shot.
I dont know how he's managed the team but the speech was highly inspirational, almost poetic. And you know the french language sucks for poetry. Spanish lenguage ftw!

Lol french sucks for poetry? There are far more talented french poets than in the whole hispanic world.. From Ronsard to Du Bellay to victor Hugo, to Alfred Musset, to Arthur Rimbaud, to Paul Verlaine, to the greatest poet of all times, Charles Baudelaire...
Your Garcia Lorca can go get splinters from sucking wooden cocks bitch!
Also i still don t get why this video got viral.. Like a couple of hours after you mentioned it i saw it on a spanish forum, on tv, now waaw posts it in here..
What people don t seem to understand is that it s an old video. He says 9 games left... And after paris we have 7 games left. So the video is 2 weeks old. If he really said that speach on sunday night he is fucking retarded, and his assistants just as retarded. He just proved how short term his management is. It s so short term that he is just good enough to play the first halfs well.
This guy uses AlWAYS the same 11 and never gives them a rest while he gives very little chances to certain players. He is just an autist.
I can tell you what he did to an unwanted center defender recruited last summer, captain of the brazil sub 21 team...

Haller is the name and we like his game. He had a golden start, eventhough his latest games have turned out to be a little less glorious as the start insinuated. He'll hopefully grow up a little and become a man here in Utrecht. You can say of FC Utrecht whatever you like, but players tend to man up here. Sometimes they get a fist on the jaw by another player, or the likes. In this specific case the attacking player (Anouar Kali) is now playing in Qatar, probably the best place for him.
Anyway, all the best to Haller, we hope to see him shine in the future.
As for the Marseille coach... That sounds pretty awful. If it's true that he doesn't even bother to learn French even a little bit, I think he should pack his bags. It's a kind of arrogance that I can't appreciate. Oh well, let's look at the sunny side. Pretty much every active poster in this thread is rooting for a team that wins a trophy once in a decade if they're lucky. It's a bonding experience, this. And hell, l'OM is doing a lot better than the clubs waauw and I support. Count your blessings

Nah You got nietzsche who is the prototype of the guy sucking on winners.... Real madrid, manchester united, club america....
And supporting Marseille in France is a bit like supporting Ajax to tell the truth... But I support them because it s my home town not because of their trophy room!
My other theam is the real betis and we are in second division although we are leading the league and we should be back in spanish first division next year if nothing silly happens.
I don t even know which team waauw roots for?

The first match of soccer i ever watched was of club america and they won. My cousins were rooting for the other team but i didnt care.
The first match of spanish soccer that i watched was with RM and they won. Hugo sanchez scored.
I'm not going to apologize for not siding with the losers.
Man Utd I don't care much for anymore. I liked Scholes, GIggs, Solksjaer, then the young Cristiano, later Bervatov and Chicharito. I can't say I particularly like any current player so I dont follow them anymore. And I used to follow Milan as well, when they had Maldini, then Gatusso and Pipo Inzhagi. I often watch PSG because I like Ibra and recently Verrati.
I'm not a fucking masochist. My city never had a first division team until recently and they only lasted like 3 seasons in first division. I was already a Club America fan.
Sucks to be you waiting and waiting for a championship.
Oh, and I follow almost every team with a good Mexican player, except perhaps Atleti, awful football, I don't care for that style.
I can only imagine how must suck to be born in a city who has a first division team that sucks season after season. I consider myself lucky for having a say in choosing my team.
And btw, both my teams (Club America and RM) are teams that play to the offensive every game.
