You can't hate someone from Georgia, afterall it was Doc's home state.

early nineties and you missed out man. Doc Holiday was the best character (If you can consider him that since he was actually a real person back in the late 1800s) ever.

Is Doc Holiday the actors name, or the character he played?

Character, he was a friend of Wyatt Earp. The actor was Val Kilmer.

Yeah and he played Doc Holiday better than you could imagine, he should have won best supporting actor for that year (actually he might have but I'm not sure)

Val Kilmer was absolutely SUPERB as Doc! He was by far the best part of that movie! I LOVE the scene in the Oriental with Doc and Johnny Ringo!!

Yes I have been trying to figure out how Val did such a great job (massive understatement) playing him and the only logical answer is that he was possessed by the ghost of Doc Holiday.

and the scene in the oriental was great, but nothing beats his famous "I'm your huckleberry" scene.

Theosi, you wrote a very thought provoking post. It was never my intention to judge an individual by my posts. The "thoughts and ideas" (some) get me "fired up" as I do not understand how some people can hold certain views.

Thank you! And I can most definatly understand that "Fired up" feeling!

I am not without flaw. As for war, should we then even have a military? Should we have fought against Hitler? Or turned the other cheak? Israel (Gods chosen people) retaliate against the palestinians all the time and most recently for kidnapping ONE of their soldiers. Our people are kiddnapped and beheaded and we (US) do nothing.

None of us are perfect... Only one was. And as for war... yes we should have a military. The service to and the defense of our country is "one" of the most important thing we can do as citizens of this country. But to defend her "Blindly" goes against the foundation of what we began this whole venture on. A government by the people, for the people. When government feels it has the power to decide, without our conscent to wage war or to "temporarly" suspend our constitution and Bill of Rights there is a problem... What are the men and women of our armed forces defending at that point. The war they wage at this very moment is against a country that was ruled under oppression. Under a totalitarian regime of internal spying and reporting to the authorities any and all who went against the view of government. We used this as one of the reasons to wage war on them. To free them from this oppression.
Yet now in this country are rights have been suspended. From our phone calls to our health care information is open and accesible to the Government. If you consider this "liberal" BS please read the fine print at the bottom of any of those Credit Card offers you recieve in the mail or your "Privacy Notice" that your Health insurance provider gives you. Under the U.S. Patriot Act the government has the right to violate your right to privacy at any time for any reason. And just recently those notices were changed. they no longer say "As required by The U.S. Patriot Act" they just say "Other Laws". These things get me "Fired UP" It gets me fired up that I must give my Social Security Number to anyone that ask for it from the Pharmacist to a retailer or they can refuse me service!!! The law now dictates they can do this. "YOU" have the right to not use them... But when THEY ALL do this where do you go then. you believe in scripture right? the Mark of the beast!!! "NO ITEMS MAY BE PROCURED WITHOUT THE MARK"!!! Does this scenario ring out a little fear in your soul? it does mine!!! And pleae do not feel I only think it is the Republican right that is behind this... it's not the right or left. IT IS THE GOVERNMENT palin and simple. A government that has been bought and paid for by Corporate greed. Our lives, our identities, our freedoms have been sold to the highest bidder. Whoever can get them the cash to put them in office they will make whatever they wish come true jsut to stay in power! IT DISGUST ME. Persons that refuse to see this blatant violation of what this country was founded on, our Constitution and Bill of Rights being TRAMPLED in the dust of their wake DISGUST me. I don't know what are armed forces are fighting for anymore. I don't know what purpose I was serving when I served in the first Gulf War. I don't have as much pride in my service as i once had... I'm alomost ashamed, not quite, because I know why "I" did what I did, I'm just not sure why they had me do it and I feel betrayed. I feel betrayed by my leadears, by my fellow countrymen and i am disgusted. ( Sorry... here I am giving a disertation again)

Hitler was trying to spread his disease thorughout the world. yes he had to be stopped. Israel is dending it's land. Very important.

the beheadings. Of course they are wrong. There is definatly a way to handle them. But the more they behead our people the more "Fired Up" we get and the more we just might support this war! I know it's sick but i "Think" it's a good perspective on what the people behind it "may" be thinking.

If I came across as judemental (of individuals) I appoligize as this was never the intention. Have to go (work). Thanks for bringing to light what I wasn't seeing. I'll try to do better Smile .

I have to say i'm impresed. I have "blogged" a few differnet places and a lot of people I see with your tenacity don't take the time to even listen to what someone is saying. I have a new found respect for you. your not who i assumed you to be. I appreciate the fact that you took the time to read what I wrote and to "hear" what I said. I will definatly read your post as well with a more open mind toward your perspective. Thank you for the opportunity to be "heard" and allowing me to now "listen" to you with mroe openess.
