You can just read this wooden log, and you'll be caught up:

Who J and M are...is a mystery.

It was on page 2? That's what I get for not paying attention to it over the weekend.

So I've watched a few 60s movies recently...I've noticed a trend and I'm wondering why some of them seem to start like they are already 5-10 minutes into the film? Like during editing the director's going "No no no this movies 2 hours. It needs to be 1 hour 50 at the most." and everyone replied "no problem. We'lll just edit out the first 10 minutes. No one wants to see how the couple met anyways. They just want to get to the good stuff where their lives are spiraling out of control from drugs."

Well you could argue that we (Hollywood) have actually dumbed down cinema. American movies now have to explain everything or the viewer doesn't get it. No one has to draw conclusions or actually think about the movie, as long as there's pretty colors and some tits then the movie sells. For instance, in your example, in might make sense in context when you think about what was going on in the '60s. Drugs were a common theme, and backdrop in these cases would probably be typical stories, so why waste the time to reiterate what someone has seen or experienced before? Film is expensive.

What films have you watched from the 60's?

Rosemary's Baby, Panic in Needle Park, Bullitt, The Great Escape, The Graduate, Dr. Strangelove. I know there's a couple others but I can't think of them right now.

Here's to a trailblazer, exactly 100 years to the day:
According to Wikipedia wrote:Captain Albert Berry is one of two people credited as the first person to make a successful parachute jump from a powered aeroplane. The other contender is Grant Morton, who is reported to have jumped from a Wright Model B flying over Venice Beach, California sometime late in 1911. Morton's pilot was Phil Parmalee.
On 1 March 1912, Berry jumped from a Benoist pusher biplane from 1,500 feet (457 m) and landed successfully at Jefferson Barracks, Missouri. The pilot was Tony Jannus. The 36 foot (11 m) diameter parachute was contained in a metal canister attached to the underside of the plane - when Berry dropped from the plane his weight pulled the parachute from the canister. Rather than being attached to the parachute by a harness Berry was seated on a trapeze bar.
According to Berry he dropped 500 feet (152 m) before the parachute opened.
First, scary at this point I bet.
Second,
**Munches on a banana** I remember when I went skydiving...it was quite fun.

It's been. Just by reading the two pages since my last post, I can see this place has become much too sophisticated for a ham and egger such as myself.

Maybe if autoload supplies the ham, you can supply the eggs?

I'll supply what I usually bring to the table. Wookie love or whatever you want to call it.
I should be able to post more often this week as I am on vacation.
Thus satisfying Andy's request for more frequent posts.
