Oakland won't have a better record than Kansas City, let alone the Broncos. Poor bastards.

Maybe it's just me, but I feel like Oakland could have a better record than Denver this year. I think Dumervil's injury is a pretty massive hit, and I think they will be feeling the loss of Brandon Marshall. Oakland has a pretty solid QB now, and some great athletes. I'm not saying I expect them to be better, but it wouldn't surprise me if they were.

Oakland has a pretty consistent defense, but their offense has failed them so miserably in the past years.
The Broncos always seems to drop at least one game against them every year though.

The stuff you post really does crack me up, your not even in the same argument as the chargers...and i hate the chargers...hate the broncos in fact as well. When is Te-blow gonna get his chance at the reigns?
Chargers win that division by 2-3 games.

It cracks me up as well, I'm glad you find me funny.
And yes, they are in the same argument. They did very well in the beginning of last year (though they did suck at the end). If they can get a whole season like the start of last year, then they can win this division.

According to 9 News, he's 3rd on the depth chart and there seems to be a lot of hype for him.

Makes sense. Quinn has more experience, and Orton has actually proven himself to be ok.

And the Denver Donkeys have been getting a lot of injuries too. Also, all of the hype for Tebow is getting REALLY annoying.

I'm not a big fan of Tebow's. I don't think he's 1st round talent. I'm not convinced that Quinn's a lost cause yet. But for now, I'd just stick with Orton, he didn't do too bad last year, I don't think.

No, Orton was good last year. He sticks to short, consistent throws, and let Marshall and Royale do their own things.
I liked Cutler more though. Yea, he was a bit inconsistent, but if we needed to throw it 20+ yards, we could.

Me thinks you have the wrong thread. The soccer thread is down a few posts from here.

Royal...
But anyways, you don't have Marshall, and Cuter is gone..7 wins for you guys.

Just thought I'd throw this out there.
For Wyoming football, the linebacker that was picked up from Germany (6'0 240lbs) is going to be our kick-off starter. According to the HC, he's lobbing kicks into the endzone.

So other than the obvious miscues throughout the game, that horrible spot that cost them the first down, the possible interference call on the last play...was the nail in the coffin for NC taking too much time to snap the ball with under a minute left while the play clock was rolling?

Well, Wyoming beat SUU, but the D really needs to step it up next week against the Longhorns. The O line needs to be more consistent with the pass blocking and better at the run. The the passing game was a LOT better. Over 300 yds. The running for the Pokes, not so much.

Man, I wish I could pretend that preseason didn't happen...I can't believe I was optimistic about the season a month ago.

So what's this I hear about next year's NFL season being cancelled? Something related to this 18-game debate and adjusting players' salaries.
ANybody got any more information for me?

Wow...the Bears get gifted against the Lions...this is going to be a long year if we can only win by technicality.

Haven't heard that. Only thing I've heard of is all the hype for Tim Tebow. Kind of sucks when you don't really care much for the NFL, but all you get are Denver stations (live 2 hours away from there).

I briefly heard about some friction between players and the league about some issue or another, but haven't bothered to follow up.
Also, damn the Bears. Megatron had that shit. Stop crushing my hopes for our first mediocre season since Sanders flew the coop.

(From what I think I know) Apparently the owners want to extend the season to 18 games so that they make more money. The players don't want this, because despite them making more money, their bodies are just going to die.
I hate what the owners are trying to do. 16 games is fine...no more are needed...greedy fucks. And if this leads to a hold-out next season, Imma be pissed.
