It is time for strike's summary of the week.

This week's summary:

The Life of a Non-Native Floridian

Day 1

7:30 pm: arrive in florida over three hours behind schedule.

7:32 pm: find out the key that was left for you to get in is locked behind a gate.

7:40 pm: finally conclude to jump the fence only to find the key is out of my reach (I'm 5'9" not 6'3").

7:45 pm: find out that the back door was unlocked the whole time.

7:50 pm: finally grab the key after getting a chair from inside.

7:55-8:20 pm: unpack the car

8:25 pm: kick something and nearlky break my toe because it is too late to go to the beach.

8:30 pm: head out for dinner.

8:45 pm: get to restaurant to find out that they stopped serving dinner.

8:55 pm: settle for fast food.

9:25-10:20 pm: practice karate.

10:30 pm: go to bed early so I can wake up early for an early morning walk.

Day 2:

9:00 am: realize I overslept by three hours

9:10 am: shower

9:20 am: eat breakfast.

9:45 am: leave to look for jobs

1:00 pm: finish job hunting for the day

1:05-2:15 pm: grocery shopping for food.

2:30 pm: lunch

3:00-5:00: rain

5:00 - 6:00: stay inside because the weatherman says there is going to be another rain shower.

6:30: decide to go to nearest major city to tour it. Find out that it is actually almost an hour away and is in fact not the closest major city.

8:00 pm: arrive back to condo again having missed chance to go to beach.

8:00-9:30: practice karate.

9:35: eat dinner

9:50-?: watch tv until I fell asleep.

6:00 am: wake up and walk to beach

6:30 am: arrive at beach after realizing the one mile walk was closer to three.

8:15 am: return to the house. Log in and complete online applications. Arrive on cc.

Yeah yeah I've heard that one before...but guess what? I will be interviewing for a job that I've been told pays well. And even if that one falls through I have gotten a reply to my application for another job.
