Why would you being a Bama fan impact my opinion on the game? Tebow's going to come out and finally be able to make a goddamn pass. Florida 31-29

Whew now that I can breathe again.... It was ugly but I will take it.

Ingram definitely overpass McCoy now for the Heisman race

The dude from Stanford should be the leader, in my opinion.

Great game (I love great defense, and both teams had that), but I CANNOT BELIEVE that Texas called a rollout with 9 seconds left in the game - that was a HUGE gamble with very little payoff (if any).

McCoy said it in the post game interview it was designed for him to find a whole on the right side of the line for him to take it and call a timeout cause Hunter likes kicking off that hash mark more.. but the line was confused hence the game clock almost expiring and costing us the game, which was 1 of the reasons it didnt work.

You gotta give it to Suh, I haven't seen a DT do that all season. By far the best defensive lineman in College Football right now.

The game was straight up rigged. The main ref had a smirk everytime he called something against the Huskers, no joke, check for yourselves. He'll have a smirk when he calls flags against the huskers, then have a like normal face when calling on the Horns. The Horns won the game, but not with fair penalty calling. I'm sure there are Horn fans here to protest but check for yourselves, watch replay and stuff. Not Texas's fault that ref's pulled the game. Oh and the INT in the endzone when Nebraska threw it... Pass Interference plain as day... Guess What? Not called.
Poorly executed by the refs.
Congratz to the Horns on a BCS Title game...

Unbelievable defense... the Huskers created amazing pressure with a four man rush
and occasional blitz. So JCKing... I suppose it's no mystery who you were rooting for
and there weren't a lot of penalties called against Nebraska that weren't blatent.
I suppose you don't think that last Husker kick off went out of bounds or that Shipley
was horse collared? One of the worst calls was the kickoff that gave the Longhorns the
ball inside their own two yard line... after all you have to possess the ball to be down.
A false start and it was 1&10 on the half yard line staring into the face of that awsome
Nebraska defense.

To Texas credit they managed to drive into Husker territory and looked to finally have
some momentum before that first down reception ended in a takeaway on the tackle
and Nebraska managed a couple first downs getting them in position for the go ahead
field goal.

That was quite a game.

Hard to believe Texas nearly blew the chance for a field goal in the end. They were just
lucky, because there's no way anyone was aware of the clock. There was 9 seconds left
when they ran that play and Colt McCoy said after the game he knew there was "15 seconds
remaining and he knew he had time for the play" so he must have been looking at the play
clock and not the actual time remaining.

I think that was a good no call, he looked back and made a play on the ball. However I will give you the one pass to Malcom Williams where he got pushed out of bounds legally and they ended up calling a defensive pass interference on the Huskers was crap. But no points were gained from that drive.

And the downing of the kickoff at the 1 yard line was a definite pay back for that call. It was clear Goodwin never had possession of the ball when he slipped.

Twas a good game, well fought defensive battle, that coulda been even more drastic had Kirkendoll not dropped a wide open TD, but I don't think you go blaming foul play on reffing, definitely wasn't as bad as some of the SEC games we all witnessed this whole season with both Florida & Bama getting the nod.

What about the defensive pass interference call on the Huskers when the ball was clearly out of bounds and uncatchable and the receiver didn't even bother turning for the ball? Every time the Longhorns scored, it was due to a rediculous penalty. As for Suh, he was being held like crazy and still managed to man handle the line. Definitely some controversy over the game, either way it went it doesn't matter. Hate Nebraska so much I wanted Texas to lose just because they are in same conference and wouldn't want the same conference represented in National picture.

Bama wins Championship unless they play TCU, by at least 14 points. TCU would win by 17.

I think that call was made because the ball was already in the air when the defender shoved him again as he came back inbounds. But that penalty was inconsequencial to the game as it yielded no points.

When the Longhorns were on their own half yard line I was almost certain the Huskers were going to get a safety and take a one point lead. I've watched a couple Nebraska games so their outstanding defensive play was no surprise, they are the #3 scoring defense in Division I for a reason and of their 4 loses only Texas Tech managed to distance themselves on the scoreboard. Their other three losses were by a total of 4 points. Suh is a monster in the middle and always a force to be reckoned with.

If Texas does get the BCS invite to Pasadena as expected they should match up well against Alabama, but the Tide has Mount Cody and the Huskers just handed them a blueprint of how to make Colt McCoy miserable.

I'm not so sure about Texas getting the the Title Game. I mean they won by one and TCU well didn't play, but I still think Texas will be in the Title Game.

Texas played a tougher schedule than TCU which should make it happen for them,
but imagine all the hollering if the Horned Frogs jumped the Longhorns in the BCS?

I'd love to see the Frogs in Pasadena in January.
Of course Bama vs Cincy and Horns vs Frogs with the victors meeting in Pasadena would be even cooler.

we will see tonight at the bowl selection. but i dont think you cant give it to Texas. Im interested to see who TCU and Cincy get. Im hoping TCU vs Florida.

you can't snub Texas out of the BCS Championship game this year. It's Bama vs Texas (bama beats Texas in a close game), Florida vs TCU (TCU makes Florida miserable but Florida comes out with a win) and I'm not sure who Cincy would end up facing.

Why is this even up for debate?

It's Texas vs Alabama. There's no chance for TCU or Cincy this year with the SEC and Big 12 champs going 12-0.
