The changes really do look sharp.
It looks like a bit of the S is hiding behind the border!

Thanks rds, but for some reason Jonathan is still coming up Johnathan with "Bob map inspect" from the xml in current games.rdsrds2120 wrote:They have been uploaded. Check and send me a PM if anything's amiss!
Best,

I've reuploaded it, and this time I'm certain that the correct file is in the DB! If problems persist with BOB, perhaps a logout/login would fix it?cairnswk wrote:Thanks rds, but for some reason Jonathan is still coming up Johnathan with "Bob map inspect" from the xml in current games.rdsrds2120 wrote:They have been uploaded. The graphics are fine.
I have checked the xml file as above and that is also correct.
Nope! still the same as before.rdsrds2120 wrote:I've reuploaded it, and this time I'm certain that the correct file is in the DB! I've called Gilligan for a game to see what is happening there.rdsrds2120 wrote:The XML file in the database (I've manually opened the one in the database to triple check) says Jonathan. While playing, what does the name of the territory give in the drop-down menu with BOB off?
If it's correct, then the problem we have is with BOB.

rds, the drop list displays correctly now as Jonathan Putnam (3)rdsrds2120 wrote:The XML file in the database (I've manually opened the one in the database to triple check) says Jonathan. While playing, what does the name of the territory give in the drop-down menu with BOB off?

In Game 13013824, when I mouse over that territory, the BOB Map Inspect shows Jonathan Putnam (2), so I suspect if you are still seeing the old spelling, it is a caching problem.cairnswk wrote:rds, the drop list displays correctly now as Jonathan Putnam (3)rdsrds2120 wrote:The XML file in the database (I've manually opened the one in the database to triple check) says Jonathan. however, the mouse-over function over same territory displays Johnathan - the old version.
Thanks ender...that worked clearing the cache...i didn't know there was a cache in these games (apart from gfx).ender516 wrote:In Game 13013824, when I mouse over that territory, the BOB Map Inspect shows Jonathan Putnam (2), so I suspect if you are still seeing the old spelling, it is a caching problem.cairnswk wrote:rds, the drop list displays correctly now as Jonathan Putnam (3)rdsrds2120 wrote:The XML file in the database (I've manually opened the one in the database to triple check) says Jonathan. This question isn't map specific, it's about how trench warfare works. Like you suggested actually, any 'killer neutral' region (such as the buggy stops on this map) don't count as a move in trench - you can advance and then attack again.currahee68 wrote:Hi there. I have enjoyed this game a couple times already. I am now starting a quads game but whoever created the game mad it trench warfare. Is this possible? I don't see how to go to the next area unless the buggy stops don't count as a move. Can you give me any further information?
