In this case, I put your name out there because after the crypto message that pointed the finger at you, you went nearly silent for almost 6 days. You made 4 posts, but said essentially nothing. And then you seem to think I'm being scummy for calling you out on it? I know that those kinds of messages may be sent by scum to confuse things, but when you almost-but-not-quite disappear after that, it doesn't lead me to have a lot of confidence in you.

As far as I can tell, this is only the second time. And the first was before you had claimed to be a ghost who was already here when the rest of us arrived. That sounds a lot more like a 3rd-party role to me than town, especially when combined with the silencing, which is not helpful to town. I know Mafia.gg has a Ghost role that is town, but it only takes effect when the town player dies, and does not have a silencing effect, so your role appears to be made up by Razor, and could be any alignment.

But in any case, General Bax appears to have gone AWOL, though I know he's logged in several times, and was seen reading the thread. It appears he's using the same strategy as halrob. If no one has anything else to add for D3, I'll vote for him tomorrow, and see if we can get him lynched.

I totally agree that too many people don't contribute (and probably have their reasons), but now that you've stopped by, could you give some thoughts on the game so far? Your thoughts on who's scummy and who's not? Preferably with reasons. Thanks!

It is fair to say that what I’ve posted so far is definitely less than meaningful. And my contribution thus far isn’t as articulate as I like or at all. But none-the-less I’m trying. And I’ll get more comfortable doing so in the future. But you have done next to NOTHING. Why shouldn’t you be lynched? I say we lynch one the quiet ones here just to shake things up. You aren’t alone. There are 3 or 4 of you doing exactly squat!

I SERIOUSLY THINK WE NEED TO HEAD IN THIS DIRECTION. I think one good lynch for one of the non contributors would give us a great deal of info.

Dukasaur: Didn't vote on D2 or D3 at all. Apparently trusts JMac absolutely, but for no apparent reason. Too many fishy connections.

I think I've been questioned on this and answered it previously, but I'm happy to answer again.

At the beginning of this game I was completely lost, partly through just not having time to pay attention and partly through inexperience. Yes, I've played Mafia before but not a lot. I've been in four games, and in three of them died to soon to have any meaningful effect. Only once was I really significantly involved in the game, so a bit of experience, but not a hell of a lot.

One day when I finally caught up on all the reading I had missed, there was a post from JMac, and it seemed really clear and understandable and helped me make sense of what was going on. There were other thoughtful posts from other people, but they all assumed a level of knowledge that was above me, so I didn't fully understand them. His was the first that, to me in my befuddled sense, seemed completely clear. That doesn't mean that it was exceptionally good or brilliant or anything, just that at the point where I was in my comprehension it was exactly the right post for me. Hopefully it clears that up.

Since then he's been absent, but it hasn't caused me to reconsider. We all have lives and wives and jobs to go to, and it's completely understandable that someone might participate effectively on one day, and not participate at all on another day.

D3 started on a Wednesday, so we probably need to decide by Tuesday evening. I can hold off on voting if people want, but it doesn't seem like there's the time or inclination to build a case against anyone else in that short a time. If anyone has anything to add, they should do it soon.

Just for the record to my fellow townies. This is my first game and I am as newbie as a newbie can be. Mistake was made. Pure and simple. I'm slowly catching on things and hope that I can a valued part of our Townie team.
