Crazy talk, you and TheMissionary must be brothers. No wait your SEC'ers.

Georgia wont stop that option.
Tebow makes Florida a contender every year.
Alabama's D will stop Tebow/Florida's option dive and go to the big show
Texas will show up and show the SEC what the Big 12 offense can really do
Nay sayers will say "It was a down year in the SEC, and thats why Texas tromped us like that"
Life will go on

I'm not an SEC'er, I'm my teams and that's it. I'm just not so arrogant that I can't see the truth. SEC is better than Big 12, and more fun to watch.

Clemson sucked balls today. I hope we show up next week, we definitely didn't today.

I guess we will see in Pasadena, and I'm sure when Texas whips whatever SEC representative that goes their will be some lame excuse as to why, probably cause their arrogant and cant accept the truth.

Steve aponavicious was the only FBS kicker to not have missed a field goal or extra point. After hitting 2 he missed his first of the year but made up for it with a 42 yard game winnah.
BC has their 9th straight 8 win season

How is the SEC overrated? They currently hold the #1 & #2 Rankings with 4 teams in the Top 20
and 10 of 12 teams are bowl eligible. It seems they back up all that's said about the conference
and two of the remaining six undefeated teams are in the SEC until they meet next weekend.
Div. I-A Conferences wrote:
Big 12 - 2 Top 20 teams and 9 bowl eligible
ACC - 4 Top 25 teams and 9 bowl eligible
Pac 10 - 4 Top 20 teams and 7 bowl eligible

Big East - 2 Top 10 teams and 6 bowl eligible
Mountain West- 3 Top 20 teams and 5 bowl eligible

I wouldn't go as far as saying over rated, I would say watered down as this I think is a down year in both the SEC and Big 12. And am willing to bet without the sloppy reffing in some of those games those 2 top teams would have fallen already.

I understand the hate for what is considered the #1 conference. It comes with the territory. but 10 of 12 teams bowl eligible (something that does not happen without winning non-conference games) the #1 and #2 teams in the nation and many teams that are top 25 potential. We back up that title.

Did I mention how an SEC team is currently whipping #7?

Ok, but are they even considering him in the Heismen? Gerhard hasn't been in the Watch all year.

Toby Gerhart has been #2 in the ESPN Heisman Watch for at least three weeks at this point and has been in the running since halfway through the season. His statistics blow Mark Ingram out of the water and anyone who watched the game between Stanford and Notre Dame tonight (I certainly did) cannot argue that he is not deserving of being at least a finalist and far more deserving that Mark Ingram of that award.

He single-handedly beat Notre Dame tonight, and while Notre Dame is not the most impressive of teams this season, what Gerhart did tonight was head and shoulders above anything, and I mean anything that Ingram has done this season.

In my book if Gerhart doesn't win that award then something seriously wrong has happened. I follow the Heisman Watch obsessively and do not see how anyone is more deserving than he at the moment. Even after Colt McCoy had the game of his lifetime against A&M on Thursday.

Toby Gerhart has had an impressive season and broke Lindale White's PAC 10 touchdown record tonight while reaching his third 200+ yard rushing game of the year. He was very impressive tonight against Notre Dame.

Florida actually looked like the #1 team today against Florida State
while six ranked teams didn't fare well today.
Georgia 30 @ #7 Georgia Tech 24
#9 Pittsburgh 16 @ West Virginia 19
#12 Oklahoma State 0 @ Oklahoma 27
Arkansas 30 @ #15 LSU 33 in OT
#18 Clemson 17 @ South Carolina 34
#21 Utah 23 @ #19 BYU 26 in OT
#24 North Carolina 27 @ North Carolina State 28
#25 Mississippi 27 @ Mississippi State 41
Tennessee 30 @ Kentucky 24 in OT
Notre Dame 38 @ Stanford 45
Nebraska 28 @ Colorado 20

A note on rivalries in the MWC, you can throw out the rest of the season when it comes down to it. BYU and Utah, Wyoming and CSU. Rankings have had little impact in how these rivalries play out.
