The UN stumbled upon missiles being stored in their schools.
There is video footage of Hamas launching rockets next to hospitals.
They have kept all the cement given to them for themselves, making miles and miles of tunnels going straight to Israel, hundreds of thousands of tons of cement that could rebuild all of Palestine.
They have found water (the thing Amnesty accuses Israel of not giving to Palestine) being diverted for miles to go through the tunnels.
They have fired thousands of rockets into Israel, straight at the most populated cities.

Yet it is ISRAEL that deserves the investigation. Nothing for Palestine, one condemnation during this ENTIRE ORDEAL. It is Israel.

At least every Western country worth a damn decided to abstain. Russia, the US, the EU, and various Arab countries (as unlikely as that is) are all supporting Israel. This recent poll by Gallup shows the more closely Americans follow the unfolding events, and the higher their education is the more likely they are to support Israel as well.

Look, you can make a rational argument that Israel deserves sanctions, but not in response to them confronting Hamas agression. It has NOTHING to do with the war against Gaza, and everything to do with their treatment of the West Bank and not being a fair partner with Abbas in a bid for peace. I would disagree with you, but at least you could make a valid argument...

Look 600 people is a lot, so is 1000, so is 10...

War is an organization of chaos, and the stark reality is that mistakes are made and people die as a result. If you're unfamiliar with that principle you should look into how many US/UK/Canadian soldiers wound up killing each other by accident in Iraq and Afghanistan. Accidental deaths occurs a lot more often than you may realize in combat zones. Most countries that are involved in similar operations to what Israel is doing now (US, Russia, Syria, Iran etc.) rake up numbers in the tens to hundreds of thousands. This is not to say that 600 or 1000 people should be disregarded, but there should be some perspective...

Israel is committed to stopping the rocket fire against it's people and destroying the tunnel network which they've discovered extends well into Israel, giving Hamas militants access to neighborhoods, schools, and all other elements of Israeli society. All indications show that Hamas was planning something big, possibly in conjunction with Hezbollah, Syria, and Iran. Israel will put a stop to these things peacefully if Hamas allows it or by force if Hamas does not. The goals is to eliminate these threats with minimal civilian casualties, but one way or another they have to be addressed.

You don't have to agree with the Israeli perspective, but if you don't understand that this is what it's about, you don't understand this conflict.

maybe, in the interest of the safety and access of their journalists, the Times is complying with Hamas instructions. As reported by MEMRI, Hamas published media guidelines instructing Gazans to always refer to the dead as "innocent civilians" and to never post pictures of terrorists on social media. Hamas is currently preventing foreign journalists from leaving the Strip, in effect holding them hostage. These journalists must be terrified—and they also must know that the best way to ensure their safety is to never run afoul of the terrorists in whose hands their fates lie.

Hezbollah already fired off a couple rockets at Israel in the beginning of the conflict. While the well known Iran-Hamas-Hezzbolah-Syria alliance has been strained by Hamas support for Sunni groups in Syria, Iran still funds and aids Hamas, Hezbollah and Syria.
