It would be a miracle to finish second!
well well;
i made another one;
1. real madrid/juventus
2. galatasaray
3. juventus/real madrid
4. fc kopenhagen
and yes, not big but galatasaray has chances to finish the group in the top, but most likely we are runner up.
and this is not a miracle for us atm.

Lol, even though galatasaray has built a great team these past 2 years, you fell in a group with 2 ogres with a huge champions league experience. The juve in the second ballot for the drop is deeply under rated. Marseille in the second ballot was over rated, even if it s my team i have no problem to admit it. Then we fell on dortmund in the 3rd and napoli in the 4th, those 2 are super under rated.. I mean come on, dortmund is the european vice champion and are in the third ballot seriously?? Hopefully in the first ballot we fell on arsenal, that s over rated, they are the best draw after benfica.
I bet you that we have better chances of finishing third in our group that you guys to finish 2 nd HA. If galatasaray finishes 2nd or first i will sport for a month their logo as my avatar. If marseille finishes 3rd or better you will have to do the same. We can both win or both lose! agree on the bet?

United probably got the easiest group. Definitely can't complain there.
betiko wrote:Holy shit! Arsenal marseille dortmund napoli! Are you freaking kidding me?? So no chance for my team to even finish third...!
Best teams by far from pot 3 and 4. I think this group is the least predictable, any of them could advance.
JBlombier wrote:Eventhough Ajax isn't really "my team", I'll just note that they don't stand a chance in the Barcelona, AC Milan, Celtic group. They might finish third, but I'm not that sure of it. Ajax is doing great in Holland, but I guess that says a lot more about our Eredivisie than it says about Ajax.
Ajax stand very good chances of getting second place in this group. I rate them higher than Milan, who have been quite weak in recent years.

There is no way juve will end up third. I'm sorry for you if you're a gala fan, but galatasaray is as good as out of the champions league already.

I am confident we will stay in,
well if not, then we get UEFA Cup then

uefa cup it will be!
and yes, i agree that ajax has serious chances vs milan. I wouldn't say that ajax has better chances as manU did though, I'd say 55-45 for milan.
I give galatasaray 10% chances to finish second, and I'm being nice. worse ballot 2 drop you could have.
regarding the signature, i don't know what you re gonna put, if it s something about tofu i can t accept!

signature thing is all about football stuff my brother louie,
nothing about cc in signature m8
signature to show your support to galatasaray and my support to marseille FC depends on who wins the bet we made...friendly stuff
no worries.

ok if you want to bring it to the next level, avatar + signature, be it, galatasaray will never finish in the top 2 anyway! :p
and it's not marseille FC, it's "olympique de marseille"
they just did the uefa cup draw, probably not a lot of attention here about it (appart from the few spurs fans in here)
my other team, the real betis will be facing the olympique lyonnais, let's see how it goes!

Great day's viewing coming up, obviously I hope United thrash LiverPOO and am very excited about the Arsenal/Spurs game, added spice with Spurs' holding up the Bale deal apparently to thwart Arsenal's attempts at signing a couple of Real Madrid players!
I think it'd be funny as hell if Spurs play their new signings AND Bale just to piss Arsenal off
Prediction:
LiverPOO 0-3 United
Arsenal 1-4 Spurs

Gah bad day, we needed Bale on the pitch - he is a game changer. Chadli was piss poor. Oh well, looking forward to seeing more of Lamela and Erikkson too.

In other news, how about that Barca v. Valencia game?! What a match that was!

I didn't watch the game but have just seen the highlights. All 5 goals were very impressive and Messi was brilliant as always. I wish I had watched it now.

International break time! I'm really keen to see the friendly between Brazil and Portugal, but all the local networks seem to want to show that day is the USA v. Mexico qualifier. Sure that game actually matters, and involves more "local" teams, but the other one should be a better match.
Oh well, I'm used to having to stream games, anyway.

Sweden has a pretty important qualifier coming up tomorrow. Seriously, if we lose to Ireland at this stage we don't deserve to go through!

Hum forgot you were canadian! Any game with something important in stake is more interesting than a friendly!
Gilipig; we french know how to kick out irish out of the world cup, you are allowed to score hand goals agaisnt them. I m sure zlatan can take care of it!

Yeah, Canada was eliminated months ago.
Although, you're probably right: the USA/Mexico game should be a pretty good one.

That's quite an exciting group, with 3 countries all fighting for second place. The winner of the Ireland-Sweden game will probably go ahead, though most Austrians seem to think Austria stands a chance against Germany. I look forward to tomorrow.

Some interesting results so far today.
Wales loses to Macedonia. Does anyone know why Bale didn't play?
The Netherlands just barely avoided a loss to Estonia.

And france makes a draw vs.. Georgia! It s been like 6 games since we don t score a freaking goal. We re being terrible! How can benzema be real madrid s striker?? He freaking sucks!! The whole team is embarassingly bad. Will we even have enough points to be among the best seconds?? The team is hopeless.
Regarding bale, i guesshe hasn t trained reasonably in a long time.

Austria is still in a very good posistion to snatch second place. They have Ireland, Sweden and Faroe Islands left. While Sweden has Kazakhstan, Austria and Germany. Austria won their first game against Sweden so in case of a tie they have the advantage.
Say that Sweden wins against Kazakhstan and loses against Germany, and Austria wins against Ireland and Faroe Islands. They will then be tied in points but Austria is ahead because they won their first meeting, Unless Sweden think they're capable of stealing a point on home ground against Germany in the last game, we pretty much have to win the game against Austria.

Ah come on, you guys are better than austria! Ending second doesn t mean qualifying for the playoffs though. You should worry about your amount of points too.
As a reminder, you have to substract the points made against the worse team of your group (some groups have 5 teams, some others have 6 so the 6 team groups must do that extra calculation to compare best seconds qualified for playoffs)
