exactly witt. as you can see no one has much to go with (at least apparently). Posting your opionions is the only way to make judgments. Your contribution so far was limited to posting why you weren't around and that you had nothing. You've contributed much more in lovecraft where you took over 2 roles. I'm sure you get vibes about certain players, even if they are not very meaningfull and you need to express those to make the whole game progress.
Maybe I post too much because I always throw in my 2 cents about everything, but there is a sort of ballance. You don't need to have experience or not in mafia games to find someone slightly suspicious or to try out something to make the game progress.

who has hitted the most your scumdar so far?? whose role are you most curious to see revealed?

anything you can quote in particular to illustrate that? I personally didn't think he was agressive.

Erm... guys? Before we go any further - you do realise that gregwolf isn't even in this game? Witt, you might've confused this game with Community, unless gregwolf recently joined this one and I wasn't aware of it

And all the more, if you did do that ton of reading, shouldn't you have had a sense of how the game was played, even in the early stages? And you should have realised too that justifying your argument is an integral part of the game, not just pointing at someone you find suspicious and not supporting it with evidence.

of course I realized it, that's why I wrote "priceless" on the first post. just wanted to see how far he could bullcrap. anyway, witt, what about getting replaced? you are wasting potential town ressources if ever you are town.

To be honest I wanted to believe that Witt was indeed acting foolishly out of inexperience, but I think these slip-ups have been too glaring to overlook any longer, especially with him first claiming inexperience and not knowing what to do, and now claiming he did lots of research before even joining Lovecraft. The last straw for me was him attempting to pin a case on a player without wanting to give any evidence, let alone a player not even in this game. Vote Little Witt.

ok here's the thing. do we want witt replaced or given all what just happened we should make him claim? if he gets replaced would be good to have kanin back in the game, but if at some point someone wants to revive his former character it won't be possible (I guess jonty's role was much more important though).

anyone in community or any other game with witt knows what he refers to when he says "oh my I keep doing it"?

Has has a tendency to confuse which game is which. (I recommend signing up for fewer games until you available time increases, that might help you there as there will be less things to keep track of.)

QFT! It might also keep your thoughts pretty straight from each other, and help you build cases. As was stated with Superkeener, pulling one-liners the entire time without justification/evidence to back up what you are saying is extremely important. For joke votes 1-liners are okay, they don't necessarily have any real content in them. After that stage though, its important to lengthen out your votes, and state the reasons behind them.

It's not fair to ask him to be replaced against his will, unless he decides that he isn't up for the game. Given his obvious confusion, I'm willing to force a claim just to get things going, but I really don't think he's scum at this point.

I don't know, he seems ok with being replaced. he definitely realizes that he is in too much games for him to handle. why are you so sure he is not scum and you have much more doubts regarding nendreel for example?
witt can very likely be overplaying the noob card, he played much better in lovecraft.

I know it's a bit of metagaming but it just doesn't seem like a good long term strategy. Anyone who intentionally, overtly played the noob card to hide their mafia status would probably lose quite a bit of respect in the community.

Like betiko said, Witt did imply that he's open to being replaced.

I think the thing that should help to direct our course of action with Little Witt is to compare how he played Lovecraft with how he's playing now, and try to determine whether his actions in this game are honest mistakes, or scumslips. Anyone in that game played when he entered as a reserve?

Little's level of actions in this game are comparable to that of Community. I am not in No Handlebars, but there is enough crossover that somebody here should be able to comment if the is a significant difference between him in that one. As it is I believe that his actions here are a result of him being overtaxed with his lower than anticipated time causing his play in both games to suffer in the same manner. This, coupled with his apparent difficulties in keeping his games straight, suggests that his play style is not a direct result of him being scum in this game.

Since I am The mod for NH, and was in Community, I can confirm that we have been having a similar problem there as well. Maybe it would be better to try to go down into 1/2 games at a time and see if it works out better with his time there.

In the light of these, I will give Little Witt the benefit of the doubt, and sincerely hope he'll be able to find a good number of games that he can juggle effectively at a time (: Unvote.

You know I find it odd that he did a fairly good job in HP Love craft considering he was a bad guy.
I do not understand why he is so gun shy all of a sudden. Read day 7 and 8 in that game.

I do not understand his trepidation here. It only became a problem when we asked him to post. In HP he did a fairly decent job considering his newness.

I agree with IB. i think that in lovecraft he did a good job considering it was his first game, he had like 70 pages to catch up and he was a bad guy. we did have to push him to make him participate, and he got lynched pretty soon after. that could be a reason to become conservative in this game though?

unvote vote little witt

At this point we need a claim. The game has gone slow enough so waiting for a replacement would make matters worse.
If we do get a replacement the specter of Little Witts reluctance to post and explanation will hang over the other persons head.
I for one would be unable to start with a clean slate on a new player.
