I map ranked myself a few times, and my high score on the current high scores list is 5364. I checked JR's thread and it says 5205 there, so something doesn't add up. I'm not really sure how that could happen, since the missing logs wouldn't have any impact on a recorded score in JR's thread (and i'm pretty sure i would have been v.accurate with my high-scores while i was still chasing them) .

Chip stated my thread is correct with your high score and I believe there are alot of others that are in this same situation. I hope he gets it fixed soon.

Calculation is done but I am having difficulty in deciding how to present to user.

Not much point in showing an accurate high score only to be overridden with an innacurate current score.

Map Rank version 1.5.0 adds accurate overall scores and highest overall scores to the Map Rank Scoreboard Server automatically so you can just check the overall scoreboard to see an up to date list.

forgive me for not reading thru the posts, but the scores are flawed per map, for instance on route 66 it shows kid moe in the #1 spot, and yet he has negative points on that map, he has the highest score overall of the players on that list, but not for that map, i'm using route 66 as an example but i'm sure its not the only 1

you are correct.. if youd like to update the scoreboard, simply map rank the players you think are in the top spots on those maps

it replaces the top ten map rank thread, which was even more incomplete...this one at least takes much less time

yah, well either i dont know what i'm doing or its not working, i clicked on the upper map rank link on page 1, then clicked on the 2nd, no change, i am still using route 66 as an example

You have to use the game finder map rank, specify the map, and map rank the person to update...as a test, post who you are updating...and ill update you, just in case

ok maybe i'm missing something, again lets use route 66 as an example. kid moe is listed as #1 i map ranked him for route 66 and he is a negative 75 points, why is he on the list at all?, whereas i have like 500 points gained on route 66, i'm not trying to be a pain in the ass, but the old manually updated lists were ranked by the individual with the most points for a given map

Ahhh... now I see the problem... the list calculates the highest score EVER earned on the map....not the current one....though there is an option for that too... so, Kid moe must have gotten lots of points, and then lost them. The old lists kept the high water mark too, so nothing has changed.

If you think there is a mistake with the listing, you can trace your way back through his points on route 66 though, and if there is actually a mistake, than Im sure chip would want to know about it...but Ill bet he just lost a lot of points.....if you lose 500 points on route 66, for example, youll still remain on the board until 9 people score higher than that.

I hope that ends your confusion, but if not, pm or keep posting....or both would be ideal

actually it was showing kid moes current score on c.c. for all games, he has only played 3 games on that map, and has lost all 3. so unless i'm missing something theres a flaw, like wise my score is my current c.c. score for all games, and not just my score on route 66

thats the top ten list on rte 66 right now..1000 points is added to amount of points you have on map, to make it a score, and not the amount of points won

ill maprank a few of these to see how far off it is....

It registered mine perfectly at 1180 1000 base score, +180 points won...but the rest are out of whack for some reason

Ill pm chip...i think you are right, it registered actual CC score for some reason, but now it seems to be registering scores correctly

well now kid moe has been replaced with brann2006 at least he has +35 points on route 66 for the #1 spot.

those scores on the list in your post are current scores for all games/maps for each player, as you said you have 180 points on route 66, thats much more than brann2006's 35 why are you not in the #1 spot?

I can confirm there is a problem - will be fixed in next version but I will be forced to delete all the bogus entries.
