im glad so many likes the fog.. because we all know what lurks therein.. PIRATES all your booty are belong to us! bring it! (if it is unclear yes, sir we like fog every now and again )
The Loveboat have no problems with fog. You won't know what hit you, when we sneak up on you... As long as this theme song doesn't give us away though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmUlKPthrag
Keep it sunny please. I have a little too many games going on and I'm afraid I won't be able to put the necessary concentration in the games if they will be fog.

Bloody hell Eye, if I'd known how cheesy your taste in music was , I would never have boarded.
If you find the Loveboat is down to a team of two, any time soon, it'll be because I've jump overboard.
Anyone else finding that 10 round smay be a little too short, esp. for a no spoils game? This may become even more truen when we start adding fog games.
due to hardattack inability to continue with this tournament, from next round team Sarma will replace him with Chariot of Fire. i already asked Pedronicus, and he is OK with it i just hope you guys wouldnt mind. sorry to all for the inconvenience
Just curious - with 24 teams and 23 maps why not simply have each team play each of the others once? This 'drawing from a hat' is a bit of a lottery and may be misconstrued if the leading teams just happen to get drawn against one another a few times, know what I mean.
I agree that 10 rounds, in a No Spoils game, may be too short to call it a tie.

Yup we've been losing everything and drawing it out to round 10, shouting with glee every time our 2 survives against a 4. Maybe stretch it out to 12 rounds or so after the new year? PS is there going to be an Xmas break?

Genoke, magiiiiiic and Bogangod at charleston Game 6143713
I've been in contact with the team, but one player has lost his premium. You would get a quicker response if you pm'd me, or contacted the other team instead of posting in this thread. (I'm not reading this every day - especially over christmas)

The 10 rounds was arrived at after the last tournament i ran for quads in the same no spoils settings, with the cut off being 13 rounds in that one. This time around i cut it down to 10 because 13 rounds didn't give enough ties. I set the round level as low as possible to try and create the environment where attacking and winning quickly is the key.

I just tend to run my tournaments like this. I stick in numbers to random.org and get a list of numbers. There's no advantage to me or other teams.
Pedro. The Loveboat team still haven't got the points for the Galapagos-victory even though I've reported the wrong set-up by mail, and you've marked it off in the thread. We really need those points if we're going to be able to survive first knock-out.
