OK. Here's what I am going to do.

I will let the registration period last until the 1st May. Then I will decide whether to keep on looking for recruits (if we're close) or if not start the tournament anyway and run it with 1 less round (24 players).

hey chosen i really want in on this tourney -- was in your feudal "as it should be played" and i believe that you are the best tourney organizer here on cc -- anyway i only have 6 unique defeats on waterloo, but i am 2 for 3 with a kill ratio of 86%. so maybe you could make an exception? would appreciate it...

Game 4536754 here is a good reference of a waterloo game i just finished right now -- so you can see that i have adequate knowledge of the strategies of this map (i assume that is the point of your requirements)

Thanks for the comments above. :D

With regards to the requirements of this tournament (as with the Feudal War tournament), they are there to ensure that the participants of the tournament can give a really good account of themselves as both maps are tricky to master.

By the time you have killed 15 individual opponents you have shown only some skill with the intricacies of the map... of which there are many.

Why do I make the requirements in the first place? Part of the tournament layout is to play in teams with and against random team-mates. I want everyone to be able to contribute to the team and I don't want anyone to have a team-mate who doesn't have a clue or who is just a passenger. If the tournament was a singles tournament then it wouldn't matter at all what your Map Rank was.

What I will do is put you down on the Reserves list. If I don't get enough players by the 1st May then you will be in. Fair enough?
