Okay so there are 2 different brackets. There is the losers bracket aka the consolation bracket for those who have lost set of games in the tournament. Once you lose a set in the consolation bracket you're run in the tournament is finished.

Then there's the Winners bracket for the undefeated teams.
A loss in there moves them on to the next round in the consolation bracket. So we're in Rd6 of the consolation bracket and the quarterfinals of the winners bracket.

It was a heck of a fight, but [player]abel[/player] and I took 4 of 7 against [player]Culs De Sac[/player] & [player]jcstriker[/player].

Moving onto next set of games Saturday

Both sides had a tough fought 5-4 victory over their opponents in both the winners and losers brackets.

The only team still remaining undefeated in a set is [player]joshsoccer7[/player] + [player]nokelberry[/player]. They edged a close victory to come out on top over [player]abel[/player] + [player]OlJock99[/player]. Even though they have been given their first loss they're still not out. As teams require two losses to be taken out they will face the other 1 loss team of [player]lokisgal[/player] + [player]Redfelt[/player]. They are currently the highest seeded team to remain in the tournament seeded at number 2. All the other top 4 teams have been knocked out by now. They also edged a close 5-4 victory over number 12. [player]danryan[/player] + [player]brian fletcher[/player].

So now we go to the next round and wonder who will prevail. Will it be 2 seed [player]lokisgal[/player] + [player]Redfelt[/player] or 13 seed [player]abel[/player] + [player]OlJock99[/player]? Only time will tell. The next series of games will be sent out on Wednesday though and the battle will resume. The winner of this 9 game set will take on 7 seed [player]joshsoccer7[/player] + [player]nokelberry[/player] in a 21 game series. If they happen to win they will need to play a 2nd 21 game series because both teams will be at 1 loss each but if [player]joshsoccer7[/player] + [player]nokelberry[/player] prevail then they will be crowned the champions.

So, to win, abel and I need to take a 9 game series and then TWO 21 game series?

No worries there.
