and i just found out that the numbers refer to when you start from the top left and work right then down like a book, lol

Not to mention Gary,where you added a box to put in half a username....this should have just been on the Scrabble board.

Sheesh, I thought it was fairly creative, especially given the inherent connotations of the word in itself. Obviously this was not conveyed. Feel free to remove it if it's that horrible.

Actually its 5 down!!! We were all wrong, check it out, starting with the top row it is the 5th Vertical set. Also since when do you need to have a connection in crossword before you can fill in another one?

The acrosses, and the downs work on the same numbering system, so there will be a 1-down, but not a 1-across. do you follow yet? As to your question. Have you not read the entire thread?

i don't know.. since the OP set the rules up that way? that would be my guess... and see above for info on how crosswords are numbered... anyone else start on their times crossword yet, this morning? i love the easy monday morning one after sunday makes me throw it across the room in utter disgust in under 10 minutes...-0

well i guess its CC style crossword rules. Also no i haven't done the times crossword!!! im still trying to get the soduku done...from two weeks ago!
