No they weren't! Israel wasn't compromising, they were doing what every insurance company does to an injured family (e.g. shortchanging), "Oh, yes, we know you're asking for a whole state to yourselves and equal representation, so how about we give you the Gaza Strip and West Bank and that's it?"
A compromise is two groups of people coming to an equitable agreement, taking away people's homes and then telling them, "oh you can have the land that we've given you" isn't a compromise. It's the same thing as the Americans "compromising" with the Native Americans by making them live on reservations.

There's a difference between disrespecting the President, and calling the President on his wrongdoing. Disrespect would be calling his daughters drunken sluts and then peeing on his shoes. What that Marine is doing is called "Whistleblowing."

Exactly, I was listening to Bill-O at work the other day (I work at a Fox Radio affiliate, ugh) and he was saying that the only way to defeat the Terrorists is to "take out their leadership."
Now, that's odd because haven't we killed the No. 2 Man for Al Qaeda like four times?
If any of these Republicans ever played D&D, they'd be very familiar with the concept of the power vacuum, which is one of the principals of why Thieves Guilds can continue to exist for many many years:
A leader dies, two or three people fight to gain his position, and eventually there's a new leader.
The reason the whole "killing the leadership" thing won't work is because whenever you kill someone in the leadership, someone else immediately takes their place. In an organization of thousands, you're going to have a hard time permanently erasing any position of leadership.
But then again, maybe if they kill one more No. 2 guy, that will finally be the last straw and the Terrorists will give up.
