Speak to me, Zem. Is this thing going to be underway soon? It's way over the time limit.

An explanation PM is on it's way. You'll probably receive it in less than an hour.

Before I lose all the games in the first round and get angry about it (just joking

) I want to say that this is a great, great tournament.
After playing the first few turns, I love the idea of how everybody gets to choose his own map and rules and, at the same time, has to play each other maps.
Really really entertaining. Even if I lose

Oh yeah! Even if you find some dead horse to replace you - you'll still qualify and most probably win the first place amongst all 24 players

.
I am actually updating results literally every day. But on my computer only. I've been reluctant to do it in the thread, because of possible unsportmanship - all standings transparent could be suggestive. I meant, instead of trying to win, somebody could play against certain opponent(s) exclusively. Such a practice is of course still possible, but at least data collecting demands more effort. So I hope that some potential offenders will just be too lazy

...
I've already seen some things I didn't like. At least one game in my group has been finished differently than it should be.
(Most interesting thing - the offender actually LOWERED his chances to qualify
. He was too lazy
!)Of course, if you showed interest, I'd update. However, nobody even once bothered to report the win!
And finally - you asked. So I am asking the others:
Are you checking this thread at all? Are you interested to see updates?
P.S. Were there anything suspicious in your games?

I am afraid I disagree. I mean... your tournament has a very well defined set of rules. Is not unsportmanship to attack certain player to increase your qualifying chances, is being smart and playing by the rules.

I do check this thread, and as I said before, I am enjoying the tournament, even if it was the first time that I played most of the maps (that was part of the fun and provides me an excuse if I don't pass this round

). I hope you will make a second edition sometime in the future. In fact, I encourage you

Only one thing. If you make another edition of the tourney, I think that some (very few but some) maps should be excluded from it. I had to play Waterloo. And well, as some other player said in the chat, "Cruelty like this should not be forced on anyone"

And yes, it would be very nice to have updated stats regularly

lol I think I was the one that said that. I stand by it, what a horrible map.
I also check this thread quite a bit. I haven't reported a win yet only because I have not had one. It would be nice to have a standings list. I would like to see how close I am to moving on and how many points I need to move on. Or if it is even possible at this point.
I agree with Oliver, I think that targeting a particular induvidual to ensure your own success is all part of a good tourny. So I guess what I'm saying is I would like to be able to see were I stand. And who I have to Kill to move on

ive been in tourneys before where people were disqualified for playing that way. but i think it depends from tourney to tourney. and you dont need to post the results for me, thats a good reason not to in my opinion. i was just worried that the tourney was gonna get abandoned, just like every other tourney that i do well in, lol. kudos, its been fun so far!

I am afraid I will offend someone with this, and I apologize in advance, but I have to agree. "Cruelty" stands for a very close definition of what I felt while playing the map. Cruelty on me of course... :-S

You are doing quite well. You are 3rd with 45 points. Only one point less than the second classified. And still 4 games in which you can get more points.
