This is what we call an overreaction... I don't think that giving away somebody else's internet points constitutes causing bodily harm. Sure, it makes him a douche, but he doesn't deserve to have the shit beat out of him for a harmless prank. If his brother is good, he'll see this, punch his brothers shoulder, laugh, change his password and get his points back.

I'm going to go way out on a limb here and guess that you don't have any brothers. I would further speculate that you are the youngest child with 2+ older sisters. Because (assuming that this isn't all some sort of elaborate practical joke by the actual account holder) this is the sort of behavior that leads to a serious ass-kicking.
Or some sort of horribly vile retribution.
Or both. Yeah, let's go with both. If it were me, I'd beat on my brother some, just enough to let him think that my anger is spent. Then I'd find a hot chick with herpes on craigslist and pay her to pick my brother up at a bar on a night that he's seriously wasted and not thinking clearly. She would then be instructed to take him to her place and have lots of sloppy unprotected sex with him.
That sounds like an appropriate response to me.
