You take the last spot ;)

I'll be waiting for a few days to get some reserves. We'll be starting on April 11th.

I'll reserve for this tournament.

I'll take Nick Hornby, and his first book was Fever Pitch (although I like High Fidelity much more)

OK, hope I can help.

Yes, he did! I love all of those books, but High Fidelity is my absolute fave book of all time. I don't think any character has hit so close to home in all my life. I just figured, based upon the story of the tourney, it would be best if I went for his first book. It just makes more sense with regards to the story.

Which reminds me, this tournament is just the most clever idea! I love it! Well done!

And we are ready to start.

You are sitting behind your table, either a block of papers or old typing machine or a laptop in front of you or sth else and you are trying to put down the first words, first sentences. But wait, it's not as easy as you thought...

Good luck to everybody in the first game!

Cheers,
amazzony

I got your back Amazzony! I managed to get eliminated in five rounds in your Olympics Tourney, so hopefully, I'll sneak in and last longer in this one.

Refresh your browser if you can't see updated "scoreboard" on page 1

As tstoweschnell took the final free spot then all our Step One games have started. And we already have our first drop out - topper - who was eliminated first in his game... I think that he couldn't resist an invitation to go to a party and after that he wasn't able to concentrate on the book anymore
