hey tourney director, you know what would be sweet? If you could get a list of all the bands that are in so far, and have them listed on the first page, that way we know what we have in terms of competition.

I'm in for Dream Theater ( progressive metal I guess)
Age of Might
seq
flat rate
unlimited

First concert was tragicaly hip way back in 99. The best concert I have ever been to was Supertramp a few years ago.

First album I ever owned was the cranberries. That Dolores O'Riordan has a crazy sweet voice.

Nice KidWhisky, I was debating between Sonata, Symphony X, and Dream Theater, all up there in my favorite progressive metal.

I'm going to SEE Dream Theatre on the 26th of April in Perth... and more... I'm paying $350 for a platinum ticket, and I'm going to MEET Dream Theatre before the gig, and drink with them... and ... and.... probably collapse and die or something... FARK YEH

The band that I've selected (Mezarkabul) is not a rock band, it's a metal band.

Yea there pretty good. I've just been getting into them so I dont know a whole lot of there stuff. Mike Portnoy is agreat drummer, a little bummed that he uses a double base though. Have you listened to any of the Liquid Tension Experiment. Acid Rain is pretty sweet.

No way don't be, check out some of his drum training videos, I think they have them on youtube. He is nuts, and by far one of my favorite drummers. And he doesn't use a double kick on one bass, he plays multiple basses, check out his current setup, INSANE!

Put me in for the Sainte Catherines (punk).

They'll play in Canada, because they're one and only goal is to burn Quebec to the ground! When dealing with drunken mob mentality, things quickly escalate out of hand. Smoke/fog of war should be expected. May the destruction be unlimited!

My first show: I took my girlfriend out to see her favourite band, My Chamical Romance.
Best show: Rise Against

First album: Big Shiny Tunes 8
Best album: Dancing for Decadence - Sainte Catherines

All in, down to 6 spots remaining. Yeah, Portnoy is mad. A friend of mine had his chest signed and photo taken with him at a drum shop earlier in the year. He's an awesome bloke as well.

Naw I don't play drums, have never been able to get my hands/feet to cooperate that way. I play trumpet/bass/keyboards. hence the name. I'm first a horn player. Love every style of music tho. Just have a real weakness for progressive metal.

Btdub, dance of eternity is epic.

Your band: The Scorpions
Your map settings (map/cards/fortifications/fog) and reasoning for each: Germany (Cause they are from Germany), Flat Rate, Chained, No Fog
Your genre, which is disputable if enough people disagree:
Rock
Whether you are Premium or Freemium: Premium
The first concert you ever went to: Billy Ocean don't ask
The first album you ever owned: No clue can't remember that far back

Lol he got Mike Portnoy to sign his chest. Thats great "I will never wash this chest again". I'd like to take a drumming seminar With him. That would be absolutly killer.

Yea that song is incredible. I've just started getting into the progressive metal scene. You got any suggestions of bands I should check out. Dream Theater is my first real forey into Progressive metal. I've got their Scenes from a Memory album and the Once in A Livetime discs. What style of music do you play on the trumpet?
