The 16 player system in my view is too slow and is breeding inactivity/impatientness. Wouldn't it be better to have two groups of 8 that merge together after the elimination of 6 or so people? Just a perspective I guess, don't lynch me for it

Let's do it that way. But no to 4 groups of 4 that's too small.

Let's split it into 1-8 and 9-16, I'll post the groups, now.
