I hate to tell you, but we're all 'emos'.

Do you smile?

Laugh?

Cry?

Do you get angry. Sad? Excited?

You're emo.

I think we've all lost sight on the fact that 'emo' is short for 'emotional'.

If you don't feel emotion, you aren't human.

of course we're all emotional, however these days emo isn't just short for emotional, it labels a subculture that exemplifies sadness and depression. I know we are all emotional but being emo is different.

No difference. I'm sure there are days where you exemplify sadness and depression. Ever lost a loved one? Witness a murder?

Did it get you down?

Does that make you emo, or just fucking human?

okay, so we act emo sometimes, but in the context I was using, emos exaggerate depression constantly, some of them because life has truly treated them unfairly, some because they want attention, and they do all the works like the black clothes etc.

thats what I meant by emo, the kind that make their own cliques and the kind that are (or try to be) sad everyday, and show it on purpose. I was saying people that don't do those things don't like it when they are accused of doing those things.

Because people don't want to be emos. Emo is just some weird depression. Who wants to be depressed?
