Franklin Roosevelt believed in good and evil.

I must say these feminazis piss me off. I myself am a feminist, but there is a line where you go from equality to superiority, and feminazis break that line. They demand special protections and liberties that men don't have, twisting the true feminist ideology of being just as capable as men. She says that pornography is degrading to women, eh? You know what, being a porn star is an occupation, not slavery. They aren't forced into it. I bet the women looks at male or female pornography, but if she's looking at a man or a lesbian it's not degrading? And if someone watches porn they become a rapist? Funny that, 80 percent of the male population aren't rapists, not even 20% are. And saying she should have had a abortion just becuase her son watches porn, that's a disgusting reason. The only problem with her son is the amount of porn he looks at.

And then there's discipline. I would actually like it if kids could be smacked if they broke the rules. But then it's complicated by social services and now we have a generation of kids who think they can do whatever the hell they want. But not for something like watching porn, it's natural for teenagers to look at porn.

yes, but there's a time when you overdo it, as others (i believe hecter) have said. if you can't go on the computer without looking at porn, that's not an indication of lust as it occurs often but it's of self control. if the son knows that looking at porn is wrong, he should try to combat his problem. looking at porn is bad, but not as bad as the mother perceives it to be. maybe porn does have an influence, maybe it doesn't, but let's ask the kind of guys who take the "f*ck 'em and leave 'em" principle with women in general.

Ambrose we are able to appreciate the things that you are mentioning because the Western World has survide to be the fittest race...

For example look at the Black Race and im saying majority here. Look at their culture. They have brought nothing to the world apart from Hip Hop and Bling.

The west has a truly greater culture and by West that is not including America!!!1

Obviously if you can't go on the internet without looking at porn there's a real problem. And if it's not an addiction I really doubt it has a negative impact, except for over zealous tissue consumption.

If you're referring to the great thinkers mentioned in your other post (btw Lincoln shouldn't be on there), then that's a very small portion of the population who're well off.

Its a fact that surviving and reproducing are part of our instincts, you can't compare your instincts to ideals, as not everyone shares the same ones and they all sort of tie into our other instincts anyways (like compassion and all that). Any culture that forced you to give up all your possessions would be fine by Ghandis standards, but hell for everyone else, so technically (the other guys being technical, not me) you can really only judge a culture by how easy it is to carry out our instincts.

So... the best culture would be an utter lack of culture? Where we really live like animals, relying only on our instincts and following their every urge. That's what you are proposing when you say that the best culture is the one where it's easiest to "carry out ones instincts".

Hecter, the word "Nazi" is extremely pejorative and emotive, for obvious reasons. People often deliberately use the word (a more commonly abused word is "fascist" - cf "Islamo-fascism") to try and create a false association between those they don't like, and the Nazi Party of Germany.
