No, you're voting for this aging wine mom who constantly sounds like she's giving a book report on a book she didn't read.

The chances Biden, if reelected, is going to be chugging along as an 88 year old president given his current health status are absolutely nil.

This brings us back to President Joe Biden, who has long been a self-confessed "gaffe machine," and when he makes even the most minor regrettable statement his critics typically pounce. It was therefore not surprising that there was a quicker-than-usual reaction on social media to his off-script remarks made at the League of Conservation Voters Annual Capital Dinner on Wednesday.

According to the official White House transcript, President Biden remarked, "We have plans to build a railroad from the Pacific all the way across the Indian Ocean. We have plans to build in—in Angola one of the largest solar plants in the world. I can go on, but I'm not. I'm going off-script. I'm going to get in trouble."

It is unclear what the remark "pre-gaffe" was supposed to refer to, the new pipeline projects connecting to the Indian Ocean, some counter to the Chinese naval build-up?

I deal with a 93-year-old father, Biden is doing good, comparatively.
With the respect due your father, I will counter and say that your father is not the President (POTUS) and does not have the responsibilities or decisions that ANY President deals with everyday, 24/7.

My big concern is not with his gaffes, but his:

1) obvious physical decline (that many of our enemies and rivals perceive as WEAKNESS of the USA) and

2) signs of significant mental decline, that is a concern to many allies and many US citizens. Due the nature of the job of POTUS, this mental decline is a big worry of MANY.

And what did he really mean when he made THIS gaffe? Who knows???

We should settle for this standard?

Biden, who has frequently claimed his son died in Iraq from an IED instead of in Delaware from cancer, today said that - until he became ruler (two years ago) - there were legal, roadside AK-47 sales in New York.

New Harvard Harris poll has Trump smothering Biden by 6 points.

https://harvardharrispoll.com/

Which is even worse than it looks since the structural benefit of the Electoral.College means Biden can win by two points and still lose.

The same poll finds 59% saying Biden is "not mentally fit" to be president.

The Ruler continued to lose his grip on reality this afternoon as he finished a speech mid-way through by abruptly yelling "GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!" and then suddenly leaving the dais. The band, not recognizing the cue as the speech wasn't supposed to be over, paused a beat before Biden had to ultimately manually signal to them to start playing The Stars & Stripes Forever. Even Biden's nurse was shocked and had to run over from the opposite side of the stage to assist him down the stairs.

Simon Ateba, White House correspondent for Africa Today, noted that people were "baffled" by the latest public deterioration of Biden's brain. However, Biden has frequently believed dead people to be living or confused where he is - including countries - on some occasions so it may be he thought he was in the UK in the year 2021 instead of in Connecticut in 2023.

I like it! They should go with that as the campaign slogan.

Meanwhile Trump is being pursued by mutants and watching hundreds of youths clearing out entire department stores. What a choice!

A month into Joe Biden’s reelection campaign, 62 percent of Americans say that the question of his mental fitness is a real concern about his ability to be president. That’s 11 points higher than for the leading Republican candidate, former President Donald Trump, whose mental fitness is a concern for 51 percent.

My take is despite more extensive cover-ups, most people are concerned about Trump's mental faculties.

Biden has problems but he has greatly surprised me with how well he has done and what I expected with his election. Republicans on one hand say he is a bumbling idiot, and then say he is a mastermind in budget negotiations who screwed them over as well as being a criminal mastermind.

Trump has fueled concerns about Biden’s mental acuity since the 2020 presidential campaign, once saying his successor is “not competent to be president.” Biden has similarly said Trump is “unfit to serve” and cited his “erratic behavior” as a reason the former president should not receive classified intelligence briefings.

Trump has, or had, a person in charge of his diapers, at least while he was in the White House. Does Biden have one?

A potential 2024 rematch between Biden, 80, and Trump, 76, would pit the two oldest presidents ever elected to first terms against each other again, and concerns about age and mental fitness have become major points of criticism for each.

They quit giving Trump intelligence briefings, he didn't understand them and didn't want them. That is after they were repeatedly shortened and dumbed down.

According to the new PBS NewsHour/NPR/Marist poll, 36 percent of Americans dismiss questions about Biden’s mental sharpness, saying concerns are merely a campaign strategy used by his opponents. Forty-three percent say the same of Trump.

Biden’s own contemporaries in the Silent and Greatest Generations, those born before 1946, are the most likely to give him the benefit of the doubt – just 45 percent of them question his fitness, while 14 percent are unsure how to fee

Eighty-four percent of Republicans question Biden’s fitness; 78 percent of Democrats question Trump. And nearly two out of three Democrats say concerns about Biden are simply campaign rhetoric.

That is a problem, when Republicans lie all the time about everything, when do they not lie?

At least most see the real issue - "Many of these independents, while nervous about Biden’s mental fitness, may end up voting for him anyway because they see Trump’s liabilities as more disqualifying,” according to Amy Walter, editor-in-chief of The Cook Political Report.

So if you have two mental incompetents, but one is Trump, I know who I and all my friends will vote for.

This is from a May 15 to May 18 Survey.

Todd Gilman, the pool reporter for today's Biden breakdown, has apparently been inundated with requests from the press corps to try to explain "God Save the Queen."

The increasingly erratic and unhinged behavior is getting harder to explain short of simply admitting the sitting president is out of his mind and may be functionally insane.

It's time the cabinet invokes the 25th Amendment and deposes Biden.

Yes. Saxi wants this because he hates America.

Trump wants this because he'd lose to Biden, and Kamala has no shot at the nomination UNLESS she were to become president before primary season starts. If Kamala was then given the nomination (without being challenged), this offers Trump (mathematically, based on current polling) the best possible chance to regain the presidency.

It's a win-win for team 'erode America's institutions'

Biden has bigger things to worry about than Senator Lurch and his friend Congressman Boyle Bile.
  • A new Economist and YouGov poll found that Democratic candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr is currently the most favorable presidential candidate in the 2024 race.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. scored a net favorability rating of 19 points, or 49 percent, according to the poll that was released on Wednesday. The Hill also reports that only 30% of respondents gave him a negative rating.

Both former president Trump (R) and President Biden (D) tied for second place with 44 percent of respondents favoring each of them.

As long as you are looking at polls, a large majority feels Trump should not run. A majority also feel Trump is mentally incompetent to be president.

We're winning the battle to paint Biden as insane. It's not even close. All that you know and cherish is coming to an end.

RFKJR is clearly a Grade A nutcase.

But until 10 years ago there was a loud segment of the Rats who were virulently anti Big Pharma, antivax, thought there were FEMA camps being prepared for mass incarceration, supported crystal healing, filled the streets of Chicago for anti NATO protests, believed the FBI was tapping their phones, etc. Those people didn't just disappear, and they didn't defect to the GOP.

So no, he's not winning the D nomination. But he can still demoralize a minority of Rats into staying home during the general when Biden is inevitably heading the ticket. Votes ain't gonna suppress themselves.
