I'm with Kaplowitz on this one, I'd like to see different colours used this time... perhaps a slightly different style as well. I quickly lose interest in the work of cartographers that churn out repeats of their previous work.
I think an alternative to the flagged dead territory is needed too, especially considering the poor quality of some of the flag images.
Well you have milion colour option. I can show several and people can vote for best look.
Alternative for dead terittory,Why?If people love these style, why must change?
If i some day want to create WWII Europe map, then these style will be most suitabile.

im with you qwerts on keeping the same theme. KEYOGI i know you dont like it when people produce the same work but i think in this case it will work. With the 2 maps being linked it would be nice to have them relate image wise.

I agree with this point. However, I don't think it is a bad idea to use some different colors this time. This is a different place after all. Most of the colors actually are different but
the two blues are very similar to the two blues on the other map

1. Nice to see you put in my suggestion for the front lines on the French German boarder.
2. I'm liking these colors. They seem to represent and give a feeling of the war, dark and gritty. However i think they still need a little tweaked as some of them look to similar
3. I don't like how you've used the gradient on the continents thou.
4. For the siegfield line i think there should be one attacks from east to west. After all the Germans would stop there own advance would they?
5. What does the reinforce connection do?
6. Im assuming that the mountains are just a quick fix.
7. Just an idea but if this map was extended to include Berlin, London and Berlin could be made to bombard each other to represent the Germans blitz of London and the hugh bombing campaign of the allies to berlin
8. Boarders are pixalated, but i know you have troubles with these so ill leave it for now.

1.These whas idea from begining.
2.Maybe england and western Germany, look similar.
3.What part you mean?
4.You right,i will put attack rout from Model to Ardennes(these more history acurate).
5.Well how you see the Colmar Pocket belonge to SIEGFRIED DEFENCE COUNTINENT,and i must think of something to conect these two,or to put attack rout one way.
6.Yes just to show where will be umpasabile borders.
7.No these map present area of western front from Invasion of Normandy, and ally maximum advance to east.Like you know Berlin is been in soviet main target, and Western Ally have agrement with these plan with Soviet Union.
8.Lets leave for later, first to agree with terittory colours, and then it will be easy to work other thing.

1. Then ill get off my high horse
2. northern France may also cause problems once the legends are done.
3. well in all continents you have the color blending into white from one direction to another. I dont really like this personally.
4. good
5. ok
6. ok
7. Thast cool its was jsut an after thought i had

8. sure

That looks great to me, anyone that says otherwise is just wrong.
... I hope.
Are you planing on getting a legend that looks similar to your other one on this map soon? That would be the next step for me.

i maybe wrong as coleman suggested but i feel the thicken borders of the areas off the map doestn really compliment it very well, as i said im a newbie when it comes to this so, dont take waht i said too seriously.

It's consistent with the other map. It will probably look better when the legend is more fleshed out.

I think coleman is right all you have to do is the legendd because the colours are different
plus I liked them the same

I agree that the thickest borders are a bit too strong.

As concern of legend,i just show what will be in legend, these is still in developmental proces, and these legend will be same like Eastern front map, except helmets, because russian will change with Usa or Britain Helmets.

I counted 40 territories, is this correct? 42 would be a better number.

In your eastern from map, you have the 3 star territories. Are you doing the same thing in this map? will there be 3 stars?

Yes they are,but first people must look terittory colours and when majority agree with colours, then i can go to next step.
