Maps updated.

Vykingsfan64 has won his 3rd state in a row to keep Ross Perot atop the Liberty race, while an unexpected tie between DukeHazzard and CaronyLKluster saw Nebraska's get split between Eisenhower and Truman.

Heading toward the finish line in the primaries. I'll send out the last batch of states tomorrow night.

We have some tight races.

Remember, it's the winner (delegates) in each party advancing, along with the top popular-vote gatherer among the remaining candidates for a 3-person General Election.

Good luck, everyone.

All right everyone, I've sent out the final batch of state maps (with the exception of a few team showdowns in the already-active Super States).

Last chance to claim those delegates and win your party's nomination.
Remember the top popular-vote candidate out of the remaining six will also advance to the General Election

Maps are updated, and it's a tight race coming down the stretch.

Teddy Roosevelt all but has the Eagle Party nomination wrapped up, while Ross Perot and Dwight Eisenhower are locked in a close battle for the Liberty party bid.

The popular vote remains tight among a number of candidates for the wildcard Independent spot into the General Election.

Just a handful of maps left to score.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out into the weekend.

We have only three states with votes still out ... New York and (in the Eagle race) Delaware and Connecticut

At this point we are able to declare Teddy Roosevelt as the winner in the Eagle Party, while the Liberty race remains to close to call with one triples map left in New York.

We will also be taking the next two top finishers in the popular vote to run as independent candidates in the General Election.

Abraham Lincoln will need to resign due to personal circumstances amongst 2 of the three players. Please select candidates that do not include us! Thanks!

A few of the New York maps are still in play in the primaries and those numbers will be finalized soon, but the four candidates for the General Election are decided. Teddy Roosevelt, Ross Perot, Dwight Eisenhower and Harry Truman.

Note, the General Election is winner-take-all for each state's Electoral Votes, which are numbered on the General Election map.

Thanks to all who have played in the tourney and good luck to those still chasing the presidency.

Good timing.
With the real election just hours away, we have filled in our first state in the General Election with Dwight D. Eisenhower taking Maine (thanks to DukeHazzard's play).

Quite a few New England states are near going final.

Dwight D. Eisenhower continues to rack up the points (26 now), getting its biggest prize of Massachusetts, as green expands across New England.

Eastern Shore states are next up with polls closing soon :)

We finally have a spot of another color ... see that dot of Perot red on Rhode Island. =D>

The electoral votes are only declared once a state has gone final.
The popular vote count is a live tab of voting that includes all states that are active.

Ross Perot claims New Jersey to narrow the gap in the early states, and we can expect some movement in the next hour or so with super states New York and Pennsylvania closing in on their count.

* Note, I added a fictitious time stamp to the map to mimic election-night coverage.
Yes, for those of us on the West Coast quite a few states are declared even before our polls close. :)
