Airlines cut flights to filthy China in drive to keep hygiene-challenged Chinese from home countries.
China was becoming increasingly isolated on Wednesday as major airlines rushed to pull flights to the mainland, while the death toll from the Wuhan coronavirus continued to grow. The Lufthansa Group, British Airways, and Indonesia’s Lion Air Group have cancelled all flights to the mainland, while the likes of United Airlines, American Airlines, Air Canada, IndiGo, Finnair, and Jetstar Asia have drastically reduced their services. Elsewhere, officials in the United States are said to be considering whether to stop all flights between the US and China. It is unclear if Hong Kong will be included in that decision.

I'm just wondering... what background do you guys have in climatology, or who are you to think you know more than scientists... knowing that probably 98% of them agree on climate change intensified by human activity?
I'm always amazed by american stupidity. For the world, it's a fact...
For americans, things like spherical earth, evolution, climate change and such are just opinions.
Your politicians even challenge journalists to point out Ukraine on a blank map... how insulting would that be anywhere else....
just carry on, I love reading you guys, kind of like watch the truman show or something.

The google searches like "corona beer virus" have been prevalent in North America (unsurprisingly not in Mexico, where the Corona beer is produced), and Western Europe ("cough" Finland "cough"), with smatterings in Australia, India, Indonesia, Japan, and New Zealand.

That report was written before all the facts were available. It has subsequently become apparent that the real story is CIA subterfuge, as per this report:

Please don’t lump us all into the same category.
I’m sure there are plenty of dumb/ignorant people in other countries too!
... for the record...
I believe that the earth is spherical (not a true sphere it’s flattened out a tad at the poles).
I believe the earth revolves around the sun approximately once a year.
I believe climate change is impacted by humans and we are endangering the ability of our planet to support life.
I acknowledge climate has changed drastically before humans and will change drastically after humans, but it (IMHO) is undeniable that we humans are impacting it at an accelerating rate.
I believe that the total human population is getting to a point where it’s not sustainable... and I’m open to the possibility we’ve already passed that point.
I believe that though there are definitely physiological differences between various human ‘races’... that these differences are not necessarily more diverse than the difference you get between people in general, and that we are all one species. As such I believe that any statistical difference between the ‘races’ in “outcomes” (i.e. educational, wealth, athletic, etc.) are mostly a product of early education, nutrition, early development, and upbringing. Though I acknowledge that there are genetic difference between humans that impact intelligence and athleticism (etc.) I do not think these are defined by race or impacted by race as much as they are just impacted by the individual genetic makeup of parents.
I could go on... but the point I’m trying to make is that you can’t lump “all Americans” into a group and call us dumb. Doing this is a DUMB generalization.

What does climate change have to do with coronavirus?
China burns a lot of coal and in some areas has a huge smog issue.
Transmission of viruses via airborne routes may be affected by ambient humidity, which affects not only the virus’ stability but also respiratory droplet size, as water content evaporates. In turn, droplet size influences whether the particle will quickly settle to the ground or remain airborne long enough to be inhaled into the respiratory tract of a susceptible host.

Humidity is water. Heating/factory smoke, traffic fumes and other smog do not add water to the air. Beijing in the winter has some of the worst smog levels of any Chinese city and yet in the winter it averages about 40% humidity.
Humidity levels in Wuhan are no different to those in eastern US cities like New York or Chicago.

Those things do have an impact, it's true, but it's a relatively small one.
If you're looking for major factors, one of the largest is that China was the last major country to beat tuberculosis as a common scourge. In most countries, tuberculosis is now a museum piece that we know mainly from history books, but China still has a lot of people who once had TB. Lungs, once scarred by TB, become vastly more vulnerable to other respiratory ailments, which is why respiratory ailments like this tend to carry a higher mortality rate than otherwise expected.

Secretary Azar Declares Public Health Emergency in United States
Health and Human Services Secretary Alex M. Azar II declared a public health emergency for the entire United States to aid the nation’s healthcare community in responding to 2019 novel coronavirus.
“While this virus poses a serious public health threat, the risk to the American public remains low at this time, and we are working to keep this risk low,” Secretary Azar said. “We are committed to protecting the health and safety of all Americans, and this public health emergency declaration is the latest in the series of steps President Trump has taken to protect our country.”
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is working closely with state health departments on disease surveillance, contact tracing, and providing interim guidance for clinicians on identifying and treating coronavirus infections. HHS is working with the Department of State to assist in bringing home Americans who had been living in affected areas of mainland China. HHS divisions also are collaborating with industry to identify and move forward with development of potential diagnostics, vaccines, and therapeutics to detect, prevent, and treat 2019-nCoV infections.
In declaring the public health emergency, Secretary Azar acted within his authority under the Public Health Service Act. This declaration is retroactive to January 27, 2020.
