I agree to this. When I started Factorio, thought "just another building game" ......... yes, I was partially right, it is "just another game" but ... after 500 h gameplay no thanks no more. It is too complex and too addictive.

I'd recommend OpenTTD. That's even more addictive but you won't find friends online and spend 500 hrs with unknown people. (I mean you won't spend any time with anyone, you'll just play when you wish but you will do it every day anyway)

I might have signed up and played other mafia games if I had received a message that a new game was starting, but I don't always browse the forum when I'm not in a game. Especially with things being so dead around here in general. There's no need to contact people who didn't participate much in games they signed up for, but I don't see anything wrong with messaging people who were active in the past but haven't shown up in a while to see if they want to come back.

I agree. In theory. Even players who used to be very active, however, seem to disappear for days until they realise that a game is also on here. Vicious circle.
