That would be William Shattner, in the episode with the gremlin on the wing.

Next - an easy one.

What is the answer, the question, and the base in which the question equals the answer?

Bah... fine. If you really need a hint :

The answer is 42. What is the question, and in what base does the question equal the answer?

How much is 6x8? Base would be 10.75. At least that is what the mouses think.

 Long time, no read. In that case the base is 13, wich, I admit, makes a lot more sense.

Now you've gotten it.

The Answer is 42.

The Question (as revealed to Arthur on a Scrabble Board in prehistoric England) is "What do you get when you multiply six by nine?"

The base in which 6x9=42 is 13.

You and Exile get to fight it out over who gets to go next, since you both combined to get the correct answer.

Nope.

Not the question. ;) And you didn't provide the base in which the question equals the answer.

Hehe.

Well, HHGTTG is one of the few things I can ask trivia regarding that would make both acceptable question material and be something I have sufficiently thorough knowledge of.

I almost asked "Who was the bowl of petunias?" but that might have been a touch on the hard side.

If this were the "Math" thread, you'd be correct. Alas, this is generic nerd trivia, which gives the the opportunity to say :

WRONG!!!
