Hard to find something to say when people aren't posting. Looks like even the replacement isn't interested.

Day 1 is always a little awkward, and usually we get through it at all because the joke vote phase stumbles into seriousness. Doesn't work so well when the joke vote phase peters out early.

The only thing I have to go on so far is dakky. He took my joke about his habit of D1 claiming way too seriously, and also read something into TFO's comment that wasn't there. But I can't yet say if it's scummy or not.

So... Would you vote for him?

But considering dakky didn't address Myself or Mets regarding his twisting of words, I'll Vote: dakky.

That brings me to L-1 so I will claim, I am currently a doctor, town aligned. If I am lynched, look at those who voted for me. Even with 2 inactives (mtam and teegee, some of three and fourth on the lynch could be scum)

Also because he really is scum a lot of the time. Statistically he's right, it doesn't matter but still feels like good way to start.

Mod said balance not included. I think I believe dakky and as such it might indicate some night time shenanigans like extra kills if only 1 scum in the game, or 2 scum and maybe some town-sided shooters.

Gut says scum is mets or whitebone.
Mets posts have a tone that feels a little fake to me.
And I find it suspicious whitebone perked up suddenly when he was about to be replaced. Especially when he isn't putting much effort in actually playing if he's interested.

I know I can't expect too much from players at the moment because it's early in the game but I do expect a certain level of interest in finding scum.

I wrote that backwards... 1 scum + town sided killing or 2 scum. 2 scum + vig like roles would be insane as that's 3 potential townies dead from just the lynch and night 1.

Some mods, for some games, tend to choose scum intentionally (not randomly) based on who they think would be a good fit for the role. Since scum can lose easily if it's not done by players with a certain level of competence, I think it makes sense that it is assigned to competent players like Ragian more often than pure chance would suggest. So I tend to agree that, in the absence of any other information, it's not the worst decision one can make.

Wait, what? Are you saying it's more likely that I'm scum because I'm good at it? I'm not. I've won one game as scum (well, two, but Aage won that one). If that's not what you're saying, could you repeat your point for thick people like me?

Rage, practice makes perfect... so yeah, there is more chance that you're scum over someone else and I agree with Mets that some mods might pick scum not randomly.

I meant more because you're good at mafia in general, which is really what most people remember (I never would have guessed that you've only one two games as scum if you hadn't told me).

Anyway I'm not actually accusing you of being mafia in this game, just saying that I can understand the logic of someone who used that for a not-completely-random jokevote.
