Not everyone wants to be spammed by CC for every new turn. There's also the feature to be notified on wall posts, so there's a clear argument why wall posts would notify the user outside of the game itself.

But do you really need another notification to see new chat? Doesnt chatglove already do that? Assuming you use chatglove there would be no reason for fairman to post on your wall. It's not disallowed of course, but I am using your logic on "you already know it's your turn" on this chat case assuming you use chatglove.

No, it is not unheard of (though due to chatglove I only really use it when I need responses quickly or while I'm in a turn). Neither is saying "we can play" on someone's wall. I dont think the "but you can get an email when you can play" is an argument against that especially since you can also get emails when you get wall messages.
Ultimately C&A has to decide whether they find this wording worthy of SD, because everybody so far agreed that simply posting "your turn in game xxx" would be fine.

This is not the same as "it's your turn" and a simple turn notification is not all that took place here. How many fucking times does that need to be repeated?

No I disagree. I think i said it in my previous post. Current rule is any kind of communication is forbidden outside game chat. Plus it was not only a "your turn in game".
You can't forget it was a freestyle game, you can't forget that nemapredaje playing was allowing osman to play simultaneously.
( side note I don't have chatglove and I don't know what it is, and external tool should be totally irrelevant when discussing CC rule).
Rule #2: No secret diplomacy
Any form of diplomatic discussion between opponents must only be posted in the game chat in English or in a language that all opponents understand. No other methods of communication may be used to hold diplomatic discussions between opponents including, but not limited to, the forum, the wall, Live Chat, or the inbox.

It wouldn't make any sense to say it's YOUR turn if in fact it was several people's turns. Just by fact its freestyle changes the wording from your to we.
No.
Osman said " we can play". But Osman could not play.
Osman was the last player to play, read my previous post.
Osman played his turn, he was last player to play, he immediately when to nemapredaje wall and post "we can play". But he couldn't.

Some people double check things, and that's useful habit.

Osman actually did something else, he ended his turn(thus notifying the other players via email that its their turn), and then he wrote a message. Turn of events is very important.
Both Mishalex and nemapredaje have an option to receive an email when its their turn, and that notification happened before osman's message.

What this has to do with anything ?
The question is whether it was communication outside game chat or not. Communication outside game chat is forbidden.
That they can receive a notification email no one cares.
I understand you may want to defend osman, but, even in the worst case he'll only receive a warning, so don't worry. I think it will be cleared or noted anyway.
But seriously notification email isn't the question here.

It's more just the friends of Osman repetitively talking about game notifications whilst they're fully aware that's not the real issue at hand.

Just to add a bit I think what they did is against the spirit of the rule but is not actually against the rule and the rule should be clarified to prevent the confusion.

Under communication I presume you are talking about real conversation... such thing didn't happen.
Both nemapredaje and Mishalex received the information that its their turn in the same time, and it was official CC notification.

How does it suits me ?
I do not gain anything having nemapredaje and osman76 warned for secret diplomacy.
It doesn't suit me that no one cares about the email notification, no one cares because it's not what we are talking about.
Following your logic, why would osman even post on nemapredaje wall, if nemapredaje already knew it anyway ?
But speaking about SD, posting on someone wall can be considered SD even if it's about an already known information.
For example, if you agree on the game chat to make a truce, but also talk about the truce on your wall, it's still SD; because any discussion should be made in the game chat, SD rule.
Therefore it doesn't matter if nemapredaje received an email or not to tell him it's his turn. If osman posting is considered SD, then it is SD, we don't care about the CC email.
Question is therefore, only, is it secret diplomacy to tell someone else in a freestyle game that he can play because it suits you ?
Grey area, and as far as I know it hasn't be discussed before.
It's borderline at least.

Yes, it's grey area and can be interpret as SD, but not necessarily. Imo it's borderline at most.

So if he can't play, how is he coordinating anything with the other player? He can't even play? So the "we" in this case, doesn't even make sense.
It literally goes back to "its your turn", but saying we can play, when its not even really a we.

This wall post has been interpreted differently and I will admit that this really looks like a grey matter that we have come across. Some say it's still a harmless notification while some say it's more than that. To keep and make things simple, let's keep this kind of talk to only be used in the game chat.
If you want to notify your opponent about the game, you can say, "it's your turn" or "game xxxx is on", "read game chat from game xx" or post a link to the game, something as simple as that.
If it's something more, I recommend that you use the game chat instead of risking making a supposed simple post get complicated/controversial and may even backfire on you.
