i find that even when i choose a random map, generally the least popular CC maps pop up. Just this week, CITADEL and POKER CLUB... before that, some horrid polynesian map that was just a cluster... i think a lot of users feel that "random" isn't really random with map selection, just from conversations i've had... so, i wonder how truly RANDOM an entirely RANDOM game would be... Dukasaur had some really good points in his post above mine...-Jésus noir

Just pointing out the fact that some random maps when its a Quads
game are ridiculous because the 1st team to play wins 90% of the time.
IMO Super small maps should be deleted from the Quads random generator.
Like the idea Dakky

Whilst I disagree with the idea generally, surely that would defeat the point of making it a completely random game?

wouldn't you prefer a challenging game =/
In a clan war just a couple of these tiny maps can way the difference between
a win and a loss, don't ya think? You really want a tiny random map to
be a deciding factor??????? Or are you really that much of a ratings whore

You know me well enough to know I don't care about my rank, which is what I assume you mean by rating.
I prefer a challenging game obviously, but if the feature is intended to be completely random then that's what it should be. It should not be an almost-completely-random-feature-but-we-don't-want-to-take-that-risk-or-that-risk-so-we'll-make-it-half-random feature.
I think what you're suggesting would be a separate entity. Dakky's suggestion gives the options of which settings you want to 'randomise' and which you don't. Yours is setting restrictions to the random map for different settings.

I love the idea except in one area. Caff, you just experienced it in a tournament where I accidentally issued a speed game. It was supposed to be a 24 hour. Four person game. Three immediate dead beats. A day or so before it got noticed.. Speed and casual can't be random.. None of us can be available to play on a moment's notice 24/7/365
But I love the concept, even if it is only applied to certain areas.
