Win/Loss record.

I vote enthusiatically for basic win/loss stats too. Victors ideas are fantastic but if not feasible a simple win/loss record should be doable. That is an additional measure of the players capability which does not come out simply in the ranking. I know of players who got the points of a colonel but the rank of a captain simply because they did not play enough games!

Highs and Lows are useful too because they tell us that this guy(say) who is now a captain has once been a colonel. That would be useful!

moz976 wrote:I don't think this exists I know you can see your total games completed by checking your profile but the only way to to know your ratio of wins to loses would be to count them up.

I think this would be a cool addition but I'm kinda scared of what I might see

Personal Map Stats

Suggestion Idea:
Tracking the overall win/lose record of a player on any given map.

Specifics:
This could be used for a player to have easy access to his/her own record on each map. It could be something that is kept under the "My Games" Menu. After the "Recently Finished" tab could be a tab that says "Map Statistics." This tab would hold a list that included columns with headers such as: map, games played, games won, games lost, points won, points lost.

Why it is needed:
Many people know what maps they are good or not so good on. I am a player that will play on most any map, so it's harder to actually figure out which maps I am better on. This would allow a player to quickly analyze each map to find out where one needs improvement. It wouldn't need to analyze the specifics of each game style (Team, Terminator, Freestyle, # of Players, etc.) because that would just get too in depth to be usable. We need a generic, but helpful stat.

Priority: 3.5

Have a tab under teh personal menu tab in the right hand colum called: general states

Have state on this plus many other things.

Activity Meter

by FlyinHi
Suggestion Idea:

Include an activity rating/percentage in user profiles.

Specifics:

It could be a rating/percentage of how much time people spend logged into the site actively checking their games. The higher the rating/percentage the more often this player is looking to play his/her turn.

Why it is needed:

This would allow other players who are trying to play games quickly to be able to choose other players with the same interest.

Priority (1-5): 3

umm, not all of us on the site all the time are actively checking or playing games. I really wouldn't want to know how much time I've wasted on here.

Hmm, then maybe have something for whenever people actually click on MY GAMES. Just an idea. I'm actually more excited that I got a reply from a moderator.

I'm just excited you used the form.

I'm not sure if that's programmable, or if it would really be indicative of what you're trying to see, especially when it comes to freestyle games (where people hold/wait).

You can always check Live Chat for realtime games as well. You can also post to the Callouts forum, asking specifically for people who play the way you want to play. BTW, don't play me, I only take my turns once a day, sometimes twice.

Perhaps it could be programmed to do something like simply show the average number of turns taken by a player each day. Perhaps it could even reflect the number of turns by the player in relation to how many games they have so you would have something like:

Optimus Prime

Avg. Turns per day: 23
Game Total: 12

Avg. Turns per game per day: 1.91

Of course it wouldn't be COMPLETELY accurate due to certain game formats moving more quickly than others, for example: 1 v 1 games in contrast to 6 player standard games. However, I think it would give you a fairly rough estimate and then if it was displaying in a players profile when searching for games to join you can simply click on their names and see if they tend to be faster or slower players.

Just a thought.

I think its one of those fun little additions and perks that would just make the site a little cooler.

Kindof the same thing as Optimus suggested, but what if there was a stat for Average Time to take turns.

If you're online all the time taking turns, you could easily hold less than an hour average; if you're a play once a day, it would probably be around 8 hours or so (I assume).

Truely though, I'm just interested in what mine would be. I don't care about everyone else. :)

Perhaps simply programming it to reflect only the game styles that are not freestyle, that would make it a little more accurate and would eliminate that problem. Of course, then it would be of no use to the strictly freestyle players, but I don't think they would mind given the game style they play, it would really be a feature of use to those who play standard format and to the non-premiums who want to find the faster players.

I think both 'average turn time' and 'turns per day' has been suggested before, and was rejected for now, due to how the info could be misguiding.

My bad, I looked through Lack's list but did not come across it. I could have just missed it.

I think these were discussed a while ago, in a random topic and never had a topic of their own, so they didn't make it 'onto the list', hence the reason why it isn't there. Though you could make a case that it could go under 'More User Stats' which is Pending. :)

I keep track of this on my own. I used to keep my signature updated with my best and worst maps. I lose the most on Europe and British Isles, while I win the most on AoM, USA, & Indochina.

Would be nice to have it built in though.

Did my Personal Map Stats get moved here??

Edit: I guess so, I found it.

ok, this thread got a reply about 2 years ago and is still under the [Pending] ??? :?:

I even saw a smiley that doesn't exist anymore??? :-s

So I wanted to suggest simpler addition... a count of single, dbl, tpl quads, etc games played... it would be nice to see that, and since all the games are archived now, it wouldn't be hard to implement for sure! Thanks

p.s. did this thread re-appear because of the whole new interface given to sugs and bugs... :ugeek:

Thanks Sailor... I thought it needed a little refresh, like NS did just a few posts up!
