... Nor I said that he cares, I just stated how much of it he received, and guessed that reason is his method how he got the medal.Chariot of Fire wrote:Velve doesn't care about the congratulations, nor does he count them as if it's some sort of competition. He saw an opportunity to earn the most elusive medal and he took it, simple as that. He came and left quietly, no trumpets, no boasts.
Why he returned after I already got medal can be easy explained. Probably he waited until I come close to ISN2 and then planned to start a game when my expectations become hot. But then I gained 100+ points against ISN2 (2 wins=+40 for me and -40 for him, plus one more game he lost) in less than 1 hour, so it was not enough time for him, or someone who contacted him, to react on time. Is this true or not I do not know, but for sure is one of possibilities which is counter argument on your statement that he would returned before I got medal.Chariot of Fire wrote:I'm not sure why you think everything has to be a conspiracy against you. Had he wanted to deprive you of the Conqueror's title he would have returned before you earned it, not after, though I've no doubt you'd probably have complained about that - so he was pretty stuck whatever he chose to do.
I very enjoy, but I still have right to tell my opinion, which I did.Chariot of Fire wrote:Why don't you just enjoy your moment in the sun instead of writing bilious remarks about someone who will always be a better man than you.

i bet it was josko so he could have something to complain about even nowRodion wrote:To be quite honest, I think this is less about Velve deciding to be a douche and more about a douche waiting for the right time until he reminded Velve that he had the perfect chance to achieve conqueror rank. You know, Velve WAS offline for more than a year, so it's more likely that he was told to come back by someone who wanted to stick it to Josko rather than decide that on his own.
The question that still puzzles me is who is that mysterious douche. The plot was so subtle that I cannot quite put my finger on WHO would have done such a thing.
I guess we'll never know.

niMic wrote:Don't worry CoF, we all know you're an excellent player, even if you've never achieved Conqueror, like josko has. Let me rephrase that. Unlike josko, you, Chariot of Fire, have never been top of the scoreboard. I apologize, I feel as if I'm being unclear here. Despite you, which is to say Chariot of Fire, having never been conqueror, josko has been, which is that which is the thing you have never been.
I'm ever so sorry, I still get the impression I'm not connecting with you here. Let me quickly draw up a helpful Venn diagram for you.

You might say that. Or you might say it's ironic that you should say that when you are posting in the "congrats conqueror josko.ri" thread, and in lieu of a congratulations you have three posts which seem to firmly put your own knickers in a twist.Lindax wrote:I'm beginning to think that "KORT spills more milk than you" because they can't get their knickers untwisted.

I think he is the tree. While others make some moves, whether backward or forward, the tree is the only one sitting in the same boring place waiting for its old days to come and seeing from distance that others can do what the tree cannotniMic wrote:josko's avatar is a wolf, and there are bees in his signature, but yeah that absolutely makes the most sense. Why am I a person in this analogy, though? Are you the bike? I mean, since you stopped well short of where josko is?

I think you mean 2-1 to KoRT, If we're talking Conqueror's Cup championships. You are up 1-0 in site-bans, though.Chariot of Fire wrote:The bike is KORT, the rock is TOFU. 2-0 colonel
