I thought I was the only one to have so many Risk sets.

I have another classic one from 1968 somewhere behind my giant stacks of books in the closet. I'm afraid it's lost to humanity for forever. I also happen to have another new/unopened Star Wars Risk back there. The wicked world laments. =(Gilligan wrote:I thought I was the only one to have so many Risk sets.
As far as I know, the board for that one is identical to classic Risk, so I never bothered to purchase it. I felt pretty ripped off by HALO WARS Risk because the board is the same. I'm skipping Metal Gear Solid Risk for the same reason, but I might get the StarCraft edition.jonesthecurl wrote:none of you guys seem to have Narnia Risk.
For the life of me, I cannot get a group of regular people together to play games with. I'm literally surrounded by farmers who'd rather honkey tonk and trade girlfriends every other year.jonesthecurl wrote: and for a longer session, I like the Empire Builder train games - EMpire Builder, British Rail, India Rails, etc.

Your response puzzles me. You'd be surprised to find that I'm actually only 13?Gilligan wrote:it just came out last yearManBungalow wrote:I haven't played it since I was liek 12, but I like Stratego.
The modern game of Stratego, with its Napoleonic imagery, was originally manufactured in the Netherlands by Jumbo, and was licensed by the Milton Bradley Company for American distribution, and introduced in the United States in 1961[11] (although it was trademarked in 1960).
You screwed everything up when you made this post:Gilligan wrote:is Legendary a pet name for Stratego or something? I'm confused.

That was in reference to the game I bought. I have no idea where ManB brought Stratego from.spiesr wrote:You screwed everything up when you made this post:Gilligan wrote:is Legendary a pet name for Stratego or something?
