Because it's common knowledge that Obama did not flip flop........he just lied to get elected, and is telling the truth now. I wonder what other Marxist tendencies will come out over time. At least he is keeping with reality and spreading the Marxism around, because you don't want to get too Marxist in your first term....

Marxism is all about the Gay Rights. That's why Lincoln was a Marxist. He freed the Blacks so they could vote Liberal.

Everyone knows that the founding fathers wanted all the religions in our government. Fucking religion everywheresss..... certainly none of our originators ever swore themselves into office with their hand on a book of laws....
Inserting God into government is anti-American and was a fearful reactionary impulse rammed up the spines of legislators during the Cold War. Are you in such a rush to prove your red/white/blue loyalty to the nation that you can only do it draped in the cross and stoning a homo?
The sh*t you guys find to bitch about is unreal.

Which brings us to that curious Mariana Islands minimum wage plank in the Republican platform. Some years ago, our government made an effort to clean up sweatshops on the islands – including Saipan – that have been under the control of the United States since the end of World War II.
Chinese women were brought over to the islands to work under awful conditions – subject to forced abortions and prostitution and paid pennies for producing garments labeled “Made in the USA.”
Corrupt local officials hired the firm of infamous lobbyist Jack Abramoff — for more than $4 million — to try to stop the reforms proposed back in Washington. Abramoff, in turn, hired Ralph Reed and his political direct mail company, Millennium Marketing, to conduct a phony grassroots campaign urging Alabama Christians to write their local congressman to oppose the reforms.
Of course, Reed didn’t tell those Christians he was being paid to help keep running sweatshops that exploited women. Instead, he told them the reforms were a trick orchestrated by the Left and organized labor.
Limits on Chinese workers would keep them from being “exposed to the teachings of Jesus Christ.” His company explained it was just trying to encourage “grassroots citizens to promote the propagation of the Gospel” and that many of the workers were “converted to the Christian faith and return to China with Bibles in hand.”
With the explosion of the Jack Abramoff scandals and exposes by Ms. Magazine and other publications, the spotlight on the Marianas sweatshops finally did lead to congressional action, including a raise of the minimum wage and a law to federalize labor and immigration rules in the Marianas. The minimum wage now is $5.05 an hour, increasing to $5.55 on Sept. 30, but many in the Marianas business sector continue to oppose the amount – hence the platform plank.
GOMERICA!
You probably saw this shit in the "what is the Republican Party" thread, SLAVERY IS A PART OF THE REPUBLICAN PLATFORM THIS YEAR - watch who you call a Marxist while voting Republican.

I can sum up Clinton's speech in one word:
FEAR
And I LOVED how Clinton said the "way we had a surplus for 4 straight years was.... ARITHMETIC" .... it's just too bad because Obama is apparently terrible in math. + 5 TRILLION to DEBT

Clinton paid down the debt for 4 years. Not 8. . . .
And he didn't inherit a Recession sliding into a Depression.
And he had a Congress he could compromise with.
Might as well credit the Republican's with that debt as they haven't introduced a budget that would pay down the debt. They're trying to create debt fear so they can get rid of Obama, while doing nothing to address the debt. It's very patriotic.

At least you watched it though. That speech was absolutely fantastic. It really gobsmacked the shit out of Romney's "Mayberry used to be a real place before Obama" speech.

If history is any indicator (ie. the last 4 years) "darkness" will be the least of our worries. (As long as the batteries are good in your flashlight)
And I don't recall a "1000 year" comment from anyone at the RNC. As a matter of fact, I found the RNC did not attack Obama's record enough, and you know as well as I, they won't be talking about it at the DNC.

That comment came from Chuck Norris wife in their new Mitt Romney support video. It's actually kind of funny, but they meant to be serious.
notyou2 wrote:The only thing to fear Jay, is fear itself. How are you going to get through another 4 years of your paranoia?
Paranoid he may be, but Jay is still one of our best posters. Back in the day he was always talking about this conspiracy or that unheard story, and I was always scratching my head like wtf is Mulder talking about? Then I'd do a google search to fact check him, just so that I would know what he was talking about. Next thing you know, there is some truth to it, and I'm agreeing with him, but for a completely different reason that I found. We'd be allies and we wouldn't even agree with each other. And what's cool about Jay is that even though he'd be considered Conservative; he's still not on anybody's team. He distrusts each party in equal amounts.
