Please NO. Half my current active games are leftovers from last year's TPA, including the still ongoing Golf Match Play tourney (which started last October). CC Golf Match Play Season 2 [TPA2] is supposed to be a "standard" tourney with the lowest point value yet the winner will likely have played over 150 games.
I hope it stays at 32 players but, if this does get expanded, it should be promoted to "premier" status to make the reward more commensurate with the work involved.

Oh, I've just been checking the OP, not the (mostly) superfluous comments posted in the thread! I guess will need to be more proactive in the future. Thanks for the heads up MP.

I am glad a lot of people want to play, I didn't expect this many people to sign up. I will not be expanding this to 64 people and adding another full round. In my opinion it is too big and takes too long.

However I submitted a revised set up to Bart to allow 42 people and not increase the game load. If he is ok with it, I will send a PM informing everyone of the change and we will go with the new format.

Due to the amount of people that signed up for the tournament, I have decided to expand the field, but modify the format slightly so no one will have an increased game load.

originally it was going to be a simple bracket with 5 rounds and 18 holes (36 games) per round.

I have added a playing round of 9 holes (18 games) and shortened the first round to 9 holes (18 games).

Players ranked 23-42 will compete in the play in round and the winners will take slots 23-32 in the bracket for round 1.

So the game load will not be increase for anyone.

Please let me know immediately if you have an issue with the change

Fixed and 2 pairings are in extra holes. 1st round will start in a couple days

Playin round is complete. first round will start soon
