What does the whole location thing mean anyhow? COuldn't quite figure that one out, though I think i've got the hang of the management of my country...

Location doesn't mean a thing.

Here are a few protips from someone who has played since the day it launched:

-The first improvement you buy should be a harbor. The more trades you have, the better.
-Do not worry about your military or land, and buy them only when necessary. Focus on Tech and Infrastructure.
-Focus on Tech
-Focus on Tech
-If you want the most trades with the most bonuses, go to the green team or black team. They have the most nations, thus the most trade bonuses available.
-Focus on Tech
-Stay off the main forums. You're asking for a headache and a half.

What about taxes, low or high and there influence

OK i run a celtic, voodoo-worshiping dictatorship (and they are ungrateful twunts, my peasants) right on the US/mexican border. I intend to smuggle aliens and drugs into the US, make a load of money, slaughter anyone who gets in my way and then rule the whole world. Is this doable?

Only if you're in the NPO. But nobody likes them, barring arrogant pricks (they have a monopoly on the moderation staff, thus swinging the game as they like).

28%, all the way. It'll lower your happiness a bit, but in the long run it gets you the most money.

Although there are lots of options and stuff, in reality there isnt actually a lot to do is there?

I am not part of LUE, but even if I was, the Initiative has yet to actually follow the surrender terms they offered (uhm, putting Mq3 into anarchy after LUE surrendered and agreed to the terms? Yeah, that's fucking honorable). I couldn't give two shits about their terms that they already pissed over.

EDIT: And this post you made is a perfect example of the plain stupidity on CN. You don't know anything about the war, LUE, or the aftermath, but you hate them all the same because the NPO hates them. It's sycophants likes you that irritate the shit out of me and why I went low key.

I've also been playing for months. I would suggest either GATO, Legion, or NAAC, they are all quite large, and have reasonable ideals, unlike inishitive and all the NPO tagalongs.

CN has great potential, but, the admin has decided that it is
