If you move on, how do you complete the objective of winning on all the maps

we will get back at the start after the last map, till somoene won on every map

So, in a year from now, when we're on Round 5 of going through all the maps and this rule of 8 people winning on one map is applicable...am I right?

Just a thought here, take it over leave it, but It may go a little faster (and be a little less redundant, if you win on a map you never play it again. Thus, when we make our 2nd cycle through the maps, each game will be 7 players as there will already have been a winner. 3rd round is 6 players, 4th round is 5 players, etc...

Therefore, if you've won a map, you don't play it again AND if you've won a map you give someone else a chance to win if they haven't won it before. Also, it makes it more aggressive as we go into year 5 and we're doing 2 player games...

Just a thought...

How often are you going to be sending out games?

trying to send 2 games a day

How many games are we going to have going at once? I'm getting to the point where it's getting to be too much and I won't be able to keep up

Gromph - good changes! Just one consideration:

Next time around, you can just do everything in groups of 7 instead of 8 because every map will have had 4 winners. The 3rd time around, you can go every map in groups of 6 because there will have now been 8 winners on every map. 4th time around would be groups of 5, etc.

If you start splitting into smaller groups, it's going to get really confusing and you're going to lose track. If you do it this way, it's easy and no hassle for you! Just take everyone who doesn't have a "1" under that map and divide them amongst 4 groups!

Loving the tournament, btw. I would think that this may qualify for the most ambitious tournament ever hosted on CC.

Yes - my thought was that if you won on a map already, you skip that round. You're just not sent a game. So, hypothetically speaking, let's say someone were to win all of their games except one in this first pass. That means they would have to wait to play again until that one map that they lost on came up again in the 2nd pass.
