Like I said, I'm sure you guys are completely aboveboard and wouldn't even consider such a thing, so please don't take this personally...I will say it to any group (clan or social) that has more than one team. No worries about the two 'Goon squads helping each other, Woodruff. There's a strong healthy rivalry between our two teams.

You must have at least four members on your team, and you may have up to nine members if you would like to. Of course, if your group has enough folks interested, create two teams!

Since we've surpassed the ten teams entered I was mentally targeting for already, I am going to send out my requests for "individual event entries" to the team captains on Friday (24 Sep). You'll have one week from that date to get them back to me. So captains, please be ready for that. If you don't have your team rosters nailed down yet, now is the time to get it finished up!

Of course, if anyone else still wants to join the tournament, entries are open until the 24th! So come on in - the water's warm!

And if anyone needs that ninth player on their roster, [player]BGtheBrain[/player] is looking for a team. No requirement that you pick him up, of course...but keep in mind that he CAN'T HURT your team if you're only going to have eight members otherwise (keeping him off of relay teams)...the worst thing he can do is not score any points.

I had actually not considered this. My original plan was to just have whoever was ranked first would be gold, second would be silver, third would be bronze...and everybody else would just be the colors shown on the standings.

But this is an interesting idea. I am going to think about it to see if I can avoid it causing me a lot of work, but it's definitely got merit.

I will be PMing the team captains shortly to get their event entries to me. I will need these NO LATER THAN midnight on 29 Sep. The Track Meet will begin promptly on 30 Sep with the Decathlon and 10,000m Run (and possibly one or two other events).

Team captains, please PM me your rosters, don't post them in the thread here - no need to give away any strategic information.
