Oh...that challenge. I got to be the @sshole for the clan that challenge. Believe it or not, a lot of my comments to HA were not my own. Our leadership group decided it would be better for one of us to do the talking so the rest of the clan (particularly Chephren, Chuuuuck, and TheSpaceCowboy) could keep it's squeaky clean image. Good times. And I love that we beat you by something like 15 more games than THOTA did.

I would say not all of HA's comments were his own but you know that anyway from when he accidentally quoted in bogansgods name

16 games? Different times, I'd like to think it would be different if it ever came around again

lol, that was hilarious was trying to get him to be the bigger man, and step away from the mud flinging lol. charlotte pumpkin is still one of my favourite insults to this day. Lub you are a charlotte pumpkin!!!

Ok dazerazer, on a more serious note, unlike my above comments on an intense patch in a clan war nemesis vs Empire.

I've been a little bit of a clan slut in the past. Was a feudal crack addict for my first 2000+games, then discovered team games then clans. Started a clan called Dark Defenders which imploded when the other clan leader was abducted by aliens, and more established clans poached our better players Then joined Imperial Britain, which was great but a bit too big membership wise. Joined the pirates(The Brethren of the Fat Mermaid), was playing with and against a few of their members, liked the sense of humour, and mateship. The Pirates helped me get gold team medals, and gold crossmap. Really cool to play with a group of folks that will play maps they hate to help a fellow clan member get shiny medals. We don't really look at rank when we consider someone as a potential member. A lot of our members were invited to join after playing very well against us. We generally look at personality, whether people will fit into the group. The ability to listen, and contribute as well(no one likes puppets to much work) is highly valued. Loyalty is a big plus as well, the players perceived as the top in their clans often get approached by other clans. I know it has happened on a regular basis to at least 6of the pirates, the fact that we prefer to stay where we are gives me hope for the future stability of our clan.

This is in no way an advertising push for the pirates. Have a look at clans your interested in, follow brucies advice she is quite knowledgeable. Play games with and against the clans your interested in, and find out what joining criteria they have. Some clans put new members to a clan vote, sometimes its a the leaders discretion. Often there are a series of trial games then a probation period. Do your research, also ask yourself why you want to be in a clan.

ahhh, a most excellent choice. Though one of the more tame specimens off the nautical scallwag breed. Needs to work on his spitting, cussing, genital and rectum scratching, as well as his dental hygiene has way too many teeth.

Well lets see.... I cant spit too far ( though I've tried! ), I've been told I cuss like a sailor, can't really scratch my balls due to the lack of this trait ( even though I have bigger ones than half the guys here lol ) annnd I still have all my teeth sooooooo.... guess that disqualifies me ? lol :p

Please note I didn't mention balls it was "genital and rectum scratching" if you don't have genitals then I'm sure you could make a fortune on the medical marvel circuit. If you have genitals, they are there to be scratched. Spitting is a learnt skill, made easier if missing at least 1 front tooth. Missing teeth are not a prerequisite just makes one look the part. A black permanent marker applied with skill, can easily duplicate the "authentic" dental hygiene of a true sea rat. Really being a pirate is a spiritual choice with a learnt/practised mindset. The exterior trimmings help one focus on the booty thief within, rather than the rapacious fallible human shell, that houses the evolved truly villainous soul.
