All in to here, just need one more player to take the last spot in Tea Party Cozies & Such and a couple of reserves and we'll be on our way. Thanks for all the interest everyone, it's going to be fun!

Privileges have been obtained, games have been sent out, now go wreck some damn antique stores!!!
Good luck to everyone and thanks again for joining. I've added a bit of clarification to the tiebreaker scenario in the first post.

Had a bit of a delay, should all be up there now. Don't forget to do as much damage as possible in the form of controlling territory--it's the key to winning any tiebreaker!

I'll put you in as a reserve Erl, but everyone showed up and the next round is the finals so I can't see you getting in this one. Sorry buddy!

Things move quickly over in Devolution HQ as two games are already finished there before even one is completed in any other antique shop. Congratulations to [player]I_AM_BOGEY[/player]for winning Game 7169432 Wales and [player]FreedomFighter01[/player]for winning Game 7169434 Ireland. If either of these vandals should be victorious in Scotland it will mean a place in the finals, but if one of the other 4 miscreants take that map it will go to the tiebreaker system.

Wow, [player]I_AM_BOGEY[/player] (an admitted novice assassin) wins again in Scotland to seal his ownership of the smoking remains of Devolution HQ. Well done! =D> We'll be waiting to hear which map (Scotland, Wales or Ireland) You choose to bring with you to the finals. Also taking a positive step towards the goal are [player]aggressivo[/player], [player]benga[/player] and [player]Dako[/player] who all won maps in their shops. Good work guys and good luck winning a second one so I can avoid doing the tiebreaker math

We have another group decided, with [player]benga[/player] of the two wins the last man standing amid the smoking ruins of Oaktown's East. Well done sir, and to all your competitors in that tightly fought group. Now, what map will you take with you to the finals?

Tea Party Cozies and Such has been torn asunder, and we have our first three way tie of the tournament. [player]iamkoolerthanu[/player] takes the hardware by virtue of controlling 23.57% of the territories on all three maps, versus 15.71% for [player]Cognac[/player]and 15% for [player]aggresivo[/player]. Great job by everyone in that group, but there can be only one eh? What map will you take with you to the finals iamkoolerthanu?

Just one game left in Russ' Dragons and Stuff then we can begin the finals. Also, still waiting to hear a map selection from [player]iamkoolerthanu[/player].

Finally, the last game of the first round is over. Congratulations to [player]Phr34ky[/player] for not only winning Age of Merchants (and possibly the slowest assassin game ever played :P ) but narrowly emerging victorious from the Russ' Dragons and Stuff antique shop. How narrow a victory was it? Phr34ky pipped the unlucky [player]deathcomesrippin[/player] 23.81% to 23.13%, that's just a single territory difference! :o Now we await Phr34ky's choice of maps and as soon as I get that I'll send out the final round games. Good luck to all of you in the finals and thanks for playing a great tournament to everyone who is going home empty-handed.

We have our first two finals matches completed, congratulations to benga and Boss Tokugawa for winning Ireland and Triple Alliance respectively. Those guys are in the drivers seat now, but it's still anyone's finals to win.

Down to the last game; Game 7277273. [player]benga[/player] is in the driver's seat but [player]Boss Tokugawa[/player], [player]iamkoolerthanu[/player] and [player]uckuki[/player] all have a chance to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat, especially as this map contains the most territories of any played in the finals. To my ID brothers [player]Phr34ky[/player] and [player]I_AM_BOGEY[/player] well done making the finals, you can only play a spoiler role at this point though. At least you picked up that assassin medal though eh Bogey? Hope you all had as much fun participating as I did hosting this thing.
