The questions will be answered as best as possible based on whatever the political status of the mystery location. For example, if the mystery location was in Corsica, it would be included in France, as it is a French territory. However, if the mystery location was in Cyprus, it would not be included in any other European country, as it is an independent state.
EDIT: I guess Cyprus technically isn't Europe, so it would be ruled out anyway, but hopefully you get what I mean.

I feel it would be too misleading if I had answered yes to the "Is Lack in Europe" question because he was in the Dutch Antilles, for example. This really shouldn't be a problem as long as you have narrowed down the continent before you get as granular as country.

Portugal, France, UK, Holland or Germany
I'm guessing France with my backup being Portugal.
Is the place south of Geneva?
Rattles down to south of France or Portugal.
Or is this place west of Calais?
Meaning it would either be UK, Portugal or West Coast France.

I reckon time to narrow down to the country, then we can start halving the country up with N/S/E/W dividers. I reckon best bet is the south coast of France - they love those bright colours down south, and Portugal is basically out because the Streetview coverage is largely confined to city streets there. There's blue sky in the piccy so it's clearly not UK...
My vote would be go with the odds - "Is Lack in France?"

I thought it looked more like France (northern) outside bet UK or one of the channel islands.
Should we go for a sector (north / south?) divide?

Would it be best to establish the outside border of the zone we're dividing first? Or are we using the "Western Europe" answer as defining the outside border?

EDIT: by the way, I'm going to guess it isn't portugal as they have next to no google street maps. And UK has none next to the ocean. So that means it's France or Holland if a no. Or Just france if a yes.

At this point it has to be Portugal or France, right? And I'd guess Portugal over France, and with some street level views just picked out at random, I'm probably right. Seaside towns with a couple a blocks from the ocean is where we have to focus the search once the country is narrowed down.
(and a bit of hunting may have landed me in the right area... Almada Portugal, just outside Lisbon. but of course, I could be wrong

Just another clarification.
When you say 'he is not west of ______', does that include all possibilities of west, such as northwest or southwest?

Affirmative. That means his longitudinal coordinate is not west of Calais' longitudinal coordinate.

East of Calais still leaves the French Mediterranean Coast, and without Italy or Spain, the only other Country that fits the bill is Netherlands (Czech has no large bodies of water), which is as flat as a pancake so there's nowhere like in that picture - not to mention looking north towards a body of water puts the shadowing out.

No, that is a silly question, it wouldn't help us at all. He could be anywhere in Europe and still be on a landmass bordering the Mediterranean.

Your logic makes no sense. If we had asked "Is lack in a country bordering the Med?" about 3 questions ago, we'd be fine.

I asked this question once before, and it was voted out. SO why ask it? If one answer was he is in europe, then why couldn't I ask if he was in France? Is it because some want the game to stretch out? Let's cut to the chase and ask the questions.

Listen to me.
If the answer to Portugal is a no, he's in France (south of Lyon) or the Balearics. Those are the only two left who have Google Street View.
If it is a yes, well then he's in Portugal.

Portugal is west of Calais.
Also, I think we can assume he is in France, so we shouldn't waste a question asking that, we should try to figure out mainland France or Corsica.
