Don't forget the tradition of Port fans of having a BBQ before the game. I did it once - a good tradition indeed!

That is a NZ and OZ wide tradition of having a BBQ before/after or during the game. Only special thing about the port supporters BBQ was half the fans thought they were skimpies.... The other half need corrective eye surgery and years of counselling. Port supporters make dockers fans look sexy!

Leaving in August, will be gone for about a year and a half.

You haven't been to penrith then have you. Or parts of newcastle and the hunter valley, then you have kalgoolie........... NZ doesn't have enough mullets, there a lot of pacific islanders, ringlets and fuzzy hair is not the best base for a mullet

Haven't been to Penrith for a long time - actually, never really been there except for the hospital.
Newcastle, I try to not go to, even if my brother lives there.

I am shocked that you have friends with style. Do you live in Sydney or Melbourne? Cause there is no one with style in Queensland, Pauline Hanson been the most stylish queenslander on record, that is saying something

Ha. I live north of Sydney, but I frequent Melbourne a lot and am even moving there early next year. So I guess that explains the whole "style" thing. And I was in Paris recently, where scarves abound and so do skinny jeans. Woot.
