The Atlanta Braves lost the world series to the Toronto Bluejays in 1992, in Toronto, Canada. these blue jays were the first team outside of the US to win the world series.

If you include Canada's soil to be unforeign, please specify.

You are correct. The Phillies lost in Toronto in 1993. You are up next.

The Jays won in Atlanta in 1992, so the Braves did not lose on foreign soil

Because the best baseball teams in the world are involved. Not our fault that the Auckland Sheepshaggers didn't make the playoffs this year...

Okay, new question: how many hits did Roberto Clemente have when he died?

This will run just like the movie quotes thread. I'll start with a question, and whoever answers that question correctly then gets to post their own question, and so forth. Linejumpers will be subject to cruel and unusual punishment.

If no one gets the answer in, say, 12 hours (or if other people are waaaay off), the questioner should provide a clue.

If it's your question, and you let the thread slip off the first page, then you shall be roundly booed and beaten with sticks.

Anyway, let's get things started:

Which four-sport (MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL) city is currently in the longest championship drought? (for extra credit, what was the most recent championship won by a team from that city, and what was the most recent championship game/series appearance by a team from such?)

dont know if this has been answered yet but i think the answer is buffalo. they have never won a profesional title.

It was actually Philly, and we did answer it
