Paddy McGuinness was the funniest man on the pitch bar none, mostly because he was utterly hopeless. Sergio just about made me jizz in my pants with that finish. Ramsey got a few nasty challenges on him. Aston looked like Theo Walcott. Ben Shepherd is a tank. And finally, John Bishop = fuucking LAD (if you disagree, look up "John Bishop's Week of Hell" and stfu).

To be fair David Seaman was never the hardest keeper to lob
Live right now: an amateur team (5th division) Cal FC is going to extra time against MLS side Portland Timbers in the US Open Cup Round of 16.

That's awesome! I'll be rooting for them from now on - unless they play the Red Bulls, of course.

That kid is going to have so much money he'd probably spend all his time doing cocaine.
The top 40 players in the Euro. An attempt of ESPN to say they know about football.
Ashley Cole in the list pfft. He shouldn't even start, Leighton Baines is better than him. Also Ibra at #8 .. nae chance. And Modric above Ribery, Robben and Sniejder? OK then.
The top 6 haven't been posted but I am guessing:
Rooney Xavi Iniesta A german= Podolski? Ozil? Ronaldo

Smashley has been one of the best left backs for England. Baines will get his time. Probably be the last one for Cole. Alonso at 34. I'd have him on my team sheet before a lot of these others.

Are you kidding me? Did you not watch the champions league this year? That guy has been consistently world class left back and one of the best in the world for a while now. Pretty criminally underrated.

I did and honestly I think he is overrated. Baines has far better delivery and is better going back the way, Cole has him for pace and experience but if I was picking the England squad Baines would be on the team sheet.

Gotta say Cashley is far and away the best English left back. In an average team, only he, Rooney and Hart could really be called World Class I would think.

Meh I think I am probably a bit biased because I hate the cunt but Baines is a real quality left back and probably one of the most underrated players in the England squad.

I like Baines, nice to have another great player competing for that position. When Cole loses his pace, Baines will step in no problem.

Seriously? What the f*ck is going on with England?
They've lost Barry and Lampard, and now Cahill is fucked. I feel really sorry for Hodgson, he's losing players faster than they're playing games.
Oh, and Ashley Cole is a top class left back. Fact.

Not to mention minor injuries for Glen Johnson, Danny Wellbeck and Scott Parker/Steven Gerrard hardly able to last the 90 minutes out.

Not to worry
this time we have a shit hot goalie. We could field the entire Leyton Orient squad on the field and Joe hart will save everything like that Carling advert with the German saving the bouncing bombs..

I have a bad feeling about England this tournament. If you guys win, try not to bring it up at every opportunity for the next 50 years.
