Ok Gimil have a few comments/queries:

firstly overall I like the look of her and I'm looking forward to playing it when she is quenched.

Here are my comments (having read all 28 pages)

What happened to the gold mine(s) - was it scrapped completely ??

as someone else said a path is needed to the castle in the great kingdom

as there are only 3 villages and 2 are in the same territory - southern river bank its a huge advantage to the guy that holds that castle that he can bombard these if any opponent takes them i think they should be exempt from the bombardment rule to counter this advantage

The bombardment is not an issue in northern river bank as this territory has no castle

the castles even though they look fine seemed to look much better in the early days of this thread.

i don't like the look of the villages they actually look like gold that can be harvested in other computer games even if they were a different color that would help.

As you are altering the territories held bonus will you be altering the traditional 3 starting as well (which actually would become 8 including +5 for the castle)

even if its not a terr. i believe you should put an island in the lake to break up the blueness

i liked what was done to the water earlier in this thread not sure why you did not go ahead with this.

im not sure why some names are on the map while others are not, all or none with be my view on this as we have the mini map in the legend i would lean towards none

Speaking of the legend i think the mini map is class but the text seems all wrong for this kind of map - some kind of old english font would look much better and go more with the theme, also the brown background looks like beauty board from the 1970s - I would strongly suggest changing this.

In terms of strategy and gameplay the person who gets dropped in the great kingdom will have a big advantage in my opinion as he/she can both protect themselves and attack much easier than the rest. - especially if they prioritise taking the southern river bank with its two villages and castle.

I would suggest changing the "river bank" part of the name in northern river bank and southern river bank

Oh boy Oh boy, I look forward to play this map

Few suggestions:

-I think you forgot the name of the 'realm of might' castle?
-I've a question, The villages are worth +3...but the great kingdom is really far from a village? isn't that a bit to disadvantaged?
-Can't really think of something...Nice work

SHHHHHH i noticed after i uplaoded tehm

Gnome wrote:-I've a question, The villages are worth +3...but the great kingdom is really far from a village? isn't that a bit to disadvantaged?

Actually each village is palceed evenly between 2 castles, te great kingdom and feudal share a village, teh rebels and the realm share a village, and the last 2 share the last village.

not a fan of the rivers :P (and water in general too green)

the legend, i think should look less like modern wall and more like a castle one :D

castles still need doing :P

STILL A TOO GREEN MAP

roads/paths need more width variation

same with the cliffs

army circles are a tad too light

missing a number right of the barbarian castle

and quite a few more. (my mistake not as many as i though, the road looks like borders ) :D

The type font really does not fit.

As much as i hate to tell you this i will be back :) :)

I like the river :(
It fit's the map

STILL A TOO GREEN MAP

Well for me it isn't to green...but I'd like to see more trees...maybe a wood...I think in the ages of knights and castles there were more woods...where do the villages gets there wood? I don't think they get it by plane...

Telvannia wrote:not a fan of the rivers :P (and water in general too green)

I can make it more blue, but it really needs the green to stop the land looking like it jsut cutes off at the water.

the legend, i think should look less like modern wall and more like a castle one :D

It was a castle look i went for. what maeks it look modern?

castles still need doing :P

In what way? I plan on doing t shading by hand, im jsut not sure how to go about it.

STILL A TOO GREEN MAP

I put the lake in to break the green up the green a little which i though worked nicely. What else do you suggest to break the green up further?

roads/paths need more width variation

Why? roads dont tend to largly in size, and at this scale i think there fine.

same with the cliffs

The cliffs where extramly difficult to make and i dont think i could change the width to much without making them look artificial, but ill experiment.

army circles are a tad too light

Ill lighten them

missing a number right of the barbarian castle

It will be fixed

and quite a few more. (my mistake not as many as i though, the road looks like borders ) :D

The type font really does not fit.

As much as i hate to tell you this i will be back :) :)

I like the river and lake as well, and unless theres real complaint (by other that arent tel) then i dont plan on changing them.

More trees is easy enough, its jsut finding where to put them without upsetting te allance. Ill look into this.
